HiI've been taking photographs for years. Started out with a secondhand Praktica, then a black bodied Minolta SRT 303. Went to New Zealand for a couple of years and met a Maori fella using a Nikon F2A and then bought one in Singapore on the way home. been attracted to the technology initially but then just loved using the kit to get nice images. Using a Nikon D90 now which is very affordable and turns out some nice images and video if you want. Enjoy taking photographs of bands and water sports, although I end up cropping like mad on the latter because the longest Nikkor I can borrow is 300 mm which is too short for surf stuff - unless you have really long legs and enormous Welles to 'get closer'.
I find photography very relaxing and it takes my mind into areas of peace when I need to slow down in life.
