I've only seen a few episodes of Mighty Magiswords, but if you keep the EEnE-themed ones going, try a labeler sword (Edd) or a lipstick sword (Kankers).

I forgot to say, though, Abby will remain with Mario after Gelatina kidnaps the others, since Abby is introduced in Chapter 4 and you need her to get through most of it.

That's not the only parallel:

* Chapter 1 takes place in a grassland called Honeymush Plains (like Pleasant Path, Petal Meadows and Lineland). Honeymush Plains is dotted with bouncy mushrooms of varying sizes, and has a town called Mushville (like Petalburg) and a dungeon called Fort Hyphus (named after the hyphae found in mushrooms; it parallels Hooktail Castle).

* Chapter 2 is set in the Smoggy Swamp, a wooded area like Boggly Woods, but similarities end there. Smoggy Swamp is filled with polluted water and toxic fog (which the swamp is named after) that comes from an old factory that was abandoned decades ago. Said factory contains a secret lab owned by one of the bad guys, mad scientist Professor Plastron. New enemies found here are Darters (dragonfly versions of the Flutter) and Smogmas (portmanteau of "smog" and "magma"), and Techoombas. Smogmas are products of Plastron's experiments, and another is Techtail 2.0, the chapter's boss. Techtail 2.0 is a robotic, dragon-like computer system that's in charge of the lab's maintenence and defense. Once defeated, a self-destruct device within it will activate, and you have 10 seconds to decide whether to run or defuse it. Choose wisely to avoid instant Game Over.

* Chapter 3 features a Clubba as its main boss. In this case, it's Jubba Hubba, a parody of Jabba the Hutt. In fact, the whole chapter parodies the first part of Star Wars Episode VI. Daisy is kidnapped by Jubba's minions and made into one of his slave dancers in his palace, which is in Sarasaland's Birabuto Dunes. Reznor parallels the Rancor, and a giant Sandmaargh parallels the Sarlacc.

* Chapter 4 is set in Shimmer Shores, a beach resort that's separated from Shimmer Caverns by Barrier Bay, which is named after the barrier reef in it. In this chapter, a majority of the residents, and most of Mario's team later on, are kidnapped by Queen Gelatina. New enemies include the various, color-coded subspecies of Gelijams that make up Gelatina's forces.

* Chapter 5 is, as per tradition, the "tribal" chapter. It takes place in the Valley of the Lost, where an ancient civilization once existed. The valley is inhabited by dinosaurs and Spear Guys, and is so-named because those who have ventured into the valley in search of the ancient ruins within, particularly the Temple of Tombs, have never returned. New enemies include Neandergoombas (large, ancestral Goombas), Dinokoopas (giant four-legged Koopas with spiked shells and long tails), Snappin Sprouts (the offspring of the chapter boss), Riptors ("rip" and "raptor"), Terrordactyls, a Nautilooper ("nautilus" and "Blooper") as the mini-boss, and the optional Tyranno Rex boss. Boos, Eeries, Wallwraiths (which possess walls and ceilings), Ghastlee Dayzees and other ghouls haunt the Temple of Tombs, which is also home of the chapter boss, the saber-toothed Piranhaleon.

* Chapter 6 is set in Phun Phun Isles, two small islands that are taken up by an amusement park. Like the Excess Express, you need tickets to get there. Mario and his team arrive on the North Isle, where the 6th Star Mirror is found in a souvenir shop. To purchase it, Mario must earn tokens in games on the South Isle. However, just as Mario is about to buy the Star Mirror, Professor Plastron takes it back from the employee selling it. It's then revealed that the amusement park itself is a cover-up for another of Plastron's labs hidden underneath, and the employees are slaves trying to overthrow him. With Mario's and his team's help, the employees chase Plastron into his underground lab full of Techoomba MkIIs, but Plastron escapes via a spaceship provided by Techtail 3.0. Mario and his team hop onto Plastron's ship as it takes off to yet another lab of his on the moon, but unknown to Mario and co, Techtail 3.0 followed them by transforming into a satellite-dragon.

* Chapter 7 is the "ice" chapter a la tradition, but with a twist this time. Flakytown (a pun on Funkytown) is situated at the foot of Mount Frostfire, a supposedly dead volcano within the Flakyfrost Range. However, the fact it's dead was a perfect cover for Bowser to build his latest base inside its caldera, and the volcano was subsequently revived and made active again. New enemies in this chapter are Shuriflakes (living, shuriken-like snowflakes with angry eyes) and Gasmelts ("gas" and "melt") that are stronger versions of the Smogmas from Chapter 2. Like Smogmas, Gasmelts were also created by Professor Plastron, and both originate from Mount Frostfire. Bowser holds the final Star Mirror.

* Chapter 8 is still being worked on, but dark enemies such as Shadow Embers will be in it.

* After the final boss is defeated, a new challenge will open up in Phun Phun Isles. It's an optional dungeon called Cube 64, so-named because it's a giant, cube-shaped maze of 64 cubical rooms that are systematically opened and closed by different switches found in several rooms. Beefed-up versions of enemies appear in here, including Needlers, Lavoxins ("lava" and "toxin"), Techoomba MkIIIs, Snowflades ("snowflake" and "blade"), Squines (the newest and strongest type of Squiglet), and more. Once it's cleared, Mario faces Plastron's original Techtail, Techtail Proto. It was formerly deactivated due to being corrupt and insane, and it becomes increasingly more sinister the closer Mario gets, finally going into a full-fledged meltdown once its room is reached. Fortunately though, unlike 2.0 and 3.0, Techtail Proto lacks a self-destruct device, but that's the only good thing in the fight. And even when it's defeated, the park's staff will improve Cube 64 and upgrade Techtail Proto so that it can switch rooms around and throw Mario off. Once it's defeated again, it's down for good. Later, Mario can go through a third time, and this time, hazards such as water, lava and poison gas are added.

* Also after the final boss, a mysterious being will appear. He is fought at eight different locations, each time disguised as one of Mario's partners an using their techniques. Once defeated, he'll move to a different spot disguised as another partner. The final time, he'll be waiting at the end of the third run of Cube 64, disguised as Mario himself.

I see, that's pretty cool! Chapter 2 may parallel Gloam Valley in Super Paper Mario's chapter 2, I think. I really like the idea of the mysterious enemy disguising himself as Mario and his partners, as well! Would you mind if I collaborated with you on this? (you provide the details, I'll do artwork and such), since I really like the idea of your game and its partners.

Sure, I'd like a collab, especially because my laptop crashed on me and so I can't use Paint.NET until I get it fixed (assuming it's successful). Until then, I'll probably submit hand-drawn works as close to PM-style as I can.

I'm currently planning:

* The Shaman family- Merlon, Merlee, Merluvlee, Merlow (reprising his badge role from the first PM), Merlyle and Merlucia. Merlyle is the big brother of Merlee, Merluvlee and Merlow. Merlucia is Merlon's daughter, and mother of the other 4.

* Harr T (as in "hearty sauce"). He's a "black" Toad and is the chef of this game.

* Chiton and Cowrie, Abby's younger siblings who both wear hermit shells that most other Nokis wear, instead of the clam shell Abby has. Chiton is the middle sibling, and Cowrie's the youngest.

* Lizzee and Lindsee, a Dayzee pop duo.

* Ghastlee Dayzees won't be an enemy anymore (can't really fit them in), and instead there'll be a ghost NPC named Ghastlee Gail.

* The Smogma family (Smogma, Gasmelt and Lavoxin). I reworked them so that the first 2 are natural volcanic creatures instead of experiments (which the Lavoxin still is), for Tattle Log purposes.

* The Darter and Needler. They're similar to Flutters, but are dragonflies instead of butterflies.

* The Shuriflake and Snowflade. Both are big mean snowflakes, but the latter is meaner.

I might change a few other things, though, such as the Techtails because SPM already had robot dragons, and the Ghastlee Dayzee re-work mentioned above. I might also change a partner or two, because I'm reforming the story a bit. I'll send notes to you.
