Hard to find good designs I noticed. All I did was google 'em but a lot of people seem to think androids and robots classify as cyborgs. Trying to make a decent fullbody design for a character that goes through some hell and it is FAR from easy. XD;

Maybe you can upload those sketches of yours? To Scraps perhaps if you're not comfortable putting them in the main gallery.

I draw a lot of inspiration from Metal Gear Rising, most of the characters you encounter in the game are cyborgs so there's a lot of ideas to spin off of.
Then there are characters like Kamen Rider and Cyborg 009.
But yeah a lot of people use the terms robot/cyborg/android interchangeably but as far as I've read each term is different, so I tend to categorize them as 3 different categories of character based on how they are physically constructed or the purpose they serve. BUT I guess its open to interpretation though!

The submission in your gallery of your character Sholto is pretty rad though, he's looking really cool!
I love cyborg characters, man. Do you have any more or is it only him?

(Also drawing from MGR. Might have a tiny Raiden obsession.) I've never watched Kamen Rider but I know it's really popular in Japan. The MC is a cyborg?

Sholto's the only cyborg I've got atm, and he had to go through some severe torture in a story to get that way. XD I've got other characters with cybernetic enhancements at this point now, but not as modified as he is. Glad you think he's cool.

Oh heck yes, Raiden is the best. XD I have 3 figures and a big ol' poster of Raiden. He's so darn cool.
Kamen Rider was a human guy who was converted into a cyborg by some evil group of people. I've really not watched it, only read a bit of the original manga by Shotaro Ishinimori, he seems to have a lot of manga featuring cyborg and android characters such as Android Kikaider, which also has an anime. I wish Kamen Rider had an animated series as well but it's the live action super sentai series.
Cyborg 009 is similar in its premise of people being unwillingly turned into cyborgs by an evil group of people. If you like anime at least the first few episodes are worth a watch.

Id totally love to hear more about him or any of your characters.

I'll have to look more into Kamen Rider! I think I saw some of Kikaider a few years back when Anime on Demand was still available to me. I'll have to look that up again, too. I just remember something about a guy getting... an exoskeleton? Mechanized suit? And boob cannons. Chest cannons. Whatever. XD Chest plates opened up and then cannon beams. Mighta been a different anime. I remember some of 009 when it hit Toonami a while back, but I just couldn't stand the style. Shame, because the plot was pretty cool...  But the style and the campy childish dialog just ruined it for me. ("Mind your peas and carrots!"?!) I saw they rebooted it or something though, so I'll give it another go.

I only read the original manga illustrated by shotaro Ishinimori, who did Android Kikaider and Cyborg 009 so if you weren't a fan of the visual style of 009 you may not be so into the look of the original Kamen Rider manga or Kikaider. Personally, I'm a sucker for that art style. XD
Shotaro Ishinimori worked alongside Osamu Tezuka, creator of Astro Boy so their art styles are visually similar.

I do RP and I'm only somewhat picky about partners. Not especially but some people I can RP with easier than others, but I'll happily give almost anyone a chance at least once.
I don't have any page of information about Cel, He's got somewhat of a story to him based on an RP I did with a friend but they've long since vanished so he's sort of stuck in limbo.
I did have some information about him in my sta.sh but it was accidentally deleted and I haven't rewritten it again.

That sketch of Cel looks pretty rad :U I love your skill at posing and dynamic angles~ Also, is Cel's name pronounced like sell, or kel? I've seen it both ways. Still interested in his story, if you don't mind summarizing~ I might be interested in rping with you too sometime, but right now I'm addicted/devoted to a specific rp that accidentally became an epic with one friend. XD I can't seem to write with anyone else atm and this story shows no signs of slowing down even after three solid months. Might you be interested in doing an art trade at some point, though? :3 Maybe just like a sketch trade or something since it seems neither of us have a ton of time right now.

I love dynamic poses. I may not have the anatomy flawless all the time but I really like the look of dynamic poses.

Hmm, well. in all honesty, his history's not really all that fleshed out. He was in an accident of sorts and most of his body was burned pretty horribly, thus mot of his body, and internal organs are synthetic and all the skin on his body was replaced with a cybernetic skin that can harden to work somewhat like armor or strengthen physical attacks. That's about all I've got for him.
If you ever wanted to try and RP just shoot me a note any time, otherwise no rush. I've never had an RP last very long since usually whoever I'm trying to RP with stops replying or we run out of ideas xD
And art trade sometime would be awesome though!
