It's not really an art block. I personally just don't have too much fun drawing ponies and stuff anymore.

But I did start photography about half a year ago and I really love it and I was debating coming back to dA for photography. I talked to my friend Alex, and I asked him if I should continue on MoonDash or make another account. He said I should just stay here because I should be able to post whatever I want on this account.. but I don't want people to be upset because that's not what they watched me for.

I understand, and I think you should post them on this account. You probably won't get a ton of recognition for it at first, but after a while you will. Plus, it is your account, you should be able to post what you want. I bet you that if you post what you want, your real fans/ followers will stay.
