Well... I used to. I have at least a dozen sci-fi and fantasy stories that I have started and are varying lengths, but I don't always have the stamina to finish them. Plus... the genre is so over done anyway, I get disillusioned with my plots and just let them sit.

I know what you mean. I've had one or two that I've gotten further than the initial concepts with, but I just find them too long and get bored. Also I have the bad habbit of writing the interesting chapters, then leaving out the bits in between. I prefer thinking up character's stories now

Yeah I guess it's like that with a lot of cameras, and I find with self photographs. You've just got to be lucky sometimes.
