Thank you, and yes, took about 20 minutes to make the raw shape, 24 hours drying time, about 2 hours carving the over-and-under of the knotwork and refining the shape, another 2 hours firing and attaching the bezel wires, and finally another hour setting the stones, brushing, antiquing and polishing the silver.

Well, I always wanted to do "proper" jewelry after having worked with beads for so long, but never really got up the nerve to invest in all the silversmithing equipment to do cutting, soldering, casting and all the other traditional technques.
Then I came across pieces that were done with this "clay" and got curious. The internet is a great thing, because next you know I had a supplier, "How-To" descriptions and was able to get started. I really taught myself everything I know so far, although I also know some places surely offer classes on how to work with clay (which may be a good thing to find out if it's something for you without having to invest in a kiln and all the other supplies.)
