I had different themes on each side more for the contrast, and also because I didn't want to end up painting characters Besides, Cesare's clothes had such nice designs haha. Good luck on your shoes! I'd love to see what you did with them!

You know, it's funny how I've been on an Assassin binge. I started as an Assassin's Creed fan, my friend tossed Way of the Shadows at me, and as of today, I purchased the whole trilogy for my personal library lol. I'm in the middle of Shadow's Edge right now. I left a note for my friend at the end of Way of the Shadows. A quote from Assassin's Creed no less. "Nothing is true, Everything is permitted" Kinda sums up the ending, doesn't it?

Sorry about the random life story, I just couldn't hold it in. This book is so fun to read! As a fellow writer, I'm easily picking out the flaws and laughing over the fact that men ans women write very differently. The flaws are good by the way. :3

I love Assassin's Creed too! And the whole Night Angel trilogy is well worth the read. It sometimes makes me wish I could play as Durzo and Kylar in the Assassin's Creed games XD
That quote sums up the ending very well and holds even more truth later on.

I love writing too, but I prefer not to pick out flaws XD I find it better to just enjoy the book as a whole and enjoy the story. I admit there are a few flaws but the books are still awesome, even overlooking that.

Playing as them would rock, what with Ezio grizzling before our very eyes!

I'm up to Kylar getting little blurbs from what I can only guess is the ka'kari (I know it speaks to him and eats his stuff, looking up the limited fanart on here has spoiled that for me)

I only pick at the typos and hard to comprehend sentences. (I've seen 2 in 2 books for the sentences, and as for typos, that's the editors fault, so XD) And even then, it's to compare my style to his to see if I have a snowballs chance in hell if I ever plan to try to make it big time off my story. Lol, like that will happen. But if Kylar can hold onto the hopes of getting laid (With Elene, and I'm not up to any part were he has as of yet. No spoilers!) then I can hope to get a pretty penny for writing a story of my own creation, right? I'm not picking at the plot, it's brilliant! And well thought out. I have yet to find a hole in his reasoning. Which I love in a story, so Brent Weeks did very well as far as I see.

Yes, I'm backpedaling. XP I don't want you thinking I'm an ass, I just like to rate against others where I stand so I can honestly say whether I'm decent or not. And next to Brent, I would like to say that I'm not bad. He's better, I won't deny that, but the skill level in vocabulary and sentence structure is one that I've almost reached. So he made me very happy to not only have a trilogy to devour (Lol, I'm like the Night Angel/Devourer/Ka'kari!) but he gave me the secure feeling that I'm not a terrible writer, and I should have nothing to fear when it comes to my story.

Is it just me, or does Kylars pose on the front of Shadow's Edge look like Altairs? Only black clothes, and a mirror image? And sorry for the long letter like post. The only other person I have to speak of the story with is still on the first book. I'm both blessed and cursed with the ability to read at break-neck speeds, so I surpassed him in one night. And he won't let me utter a peep. I can't spoil anything for someone who finished the series lol.

XD Sometimes I notice typos and sentences that are difficult to understand, but they're rare and the majority of the book is spelling and grammatically sound
I am also hoping one day to be able to publish my stories, but so far I can't even begin to compare my skills to professional writers. I do try and take tips from the books I read so slowly things are coming together, but I feel as though my writing is lacklustre anyway.
I completely respect writers like Brent who can create a world seemingly without effort and add a plot to it that's just amazing, and maybe I'll get books published, who knows? But overall it's nice to meet a fellow writer with similar aspirations ^^

After taking a second glance at the front cover, he does! I never noticed how similar the poses were before.
Also, the long post is fine, I understand how you feel about not having anyone to talk to. I read fairly quickly compared to friends and besides, I can't get any of my friends to read the trilogy so I don't talk about it very much away from the internet.

Beyond the Shadows looks Altair-esque too, but I digress... These books are fun. I gotta be careful or Kylar and Durzo are gonna start showing up in my school notebooks margins and blank pages... Well, that won't be so bad, I'll contract them to make my evil notes their deaders. XD

And then post them. By the way, I never did commend you on the absolute brilliance of making that sad, sparkling excuse for a bloodsucker melt because of Durzo's love of garlic cloves. You have done the world a great favor. (And Kylars "meep" face when Durzo glared at him was hilarious)

And aww thanks ^^ I read the twilight series because a friend said I should and I didn't like any of it XD Certain things, such as the fact the main character never shuts up about how pretty Edward's eyes were or something kind of made me want to set him on fire, and who better to do it than our favourite garlic-munching wetboy? XP

I tried to draw Durzo and ended up with what looks like 2 different Kylars... Grrr. Well, I'm still working on it. Perhaps the next try... XD Well, IF I can stay awake long enough. I had my wisdom teeth removed a few days ago, and I've been put on Vicaden (I spelled that wrong, but think the pills House likes to take, if you know the show) It puts me to sleep. -_-' So I've been spending time either sleeping, eating gingerly, or staring at stuff in a daze. So drawing is really slow right now. BUT I'm getting there. I'll post when I can.

XD Aww don't worry, I've had that same problem. Under wetboy greys the only difference would be their height.
I've got wisdom teeth but none of them have had to come out yet, thankfully, but I send hugs your way and hope your mouth heals up well I myself just have general sleepiness XD from my nocturnal sleeping cycle.
My drawing has been slow recently due to exams, I have five left so my drawing time has gone down to zilch. Perhaps a little doodle here and there.
