Don't apologize for replying late! I haven't been on in a year and have so many people to respond to. I haven't been up to much of anything but work and getting married (June 29th). As of today, my husband has survived six whole months with me moving all his things, re-decorating, and insisting that Die Hard is not a Christmas Movie. I haven't had much time for art, but I have a half colored Halloween pic of Death and Barghest, that I hope to finish and post soon.

soo, i've been replaying ffx2 lately. one of the new remaster's side missions features a group of 3 old men parading around spira, looking for spheres and bossing around giant fiends. i immediately thought of your "3 Old Men" characters from Random Bits. thought it was funny!

OMG, LOL! I got the remaster as well, and I am currently playing FFX (exploring AlBhed Home at the moment). I was really impressed with how great the game looks in HD. I am going to have to start X-2 to play that mission! I wonder how they got the idea for three old men? Hmm, I think it may have gone something like this :Some one at Square found my fanfics and shared them with the rest of the tech team, who read it, wet themselves laughing, then decided to use my characters in their game. Haha, only in my wildest dreams, right?

aaah, the game looks SO GOOD. X2 doesn't look much different, but X just got so pretty, it was worth the replay for that alone. that, AND the ridiculous superbosses.
but anyway! the mission is part of the new "creature creator"-- the creature you're looking for is called, um... it's one of the big ones, i think it's called either "stalwart" or "ironside." they look the same. and you know, i got the feeling each of the creatures' stories was written by a different member of the team, so i really wouldn't be surprised if they DID take ideas from assorted fanfiction. you just gotta wait for that royalty check!
