I was using an Wacom Intuos 3 up until recently. I went ahead and sprung for the Cintiq - it makes it so much easier for me! Dunno why, but I've always had difficulty not drawing on the screen itself, but rather on a companion tablet.

That's awesome! Same here, actually! Discovered anime (and drawing anime style) around 2010 and my extremely supportive big sis talked me into getting a DA account. I got started with digital art a year or so later - it's so difficult, but I love it!Β
You've got a really great sense for color and shading digitally. I love your blending technique.

actually for sense of colour, I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone! I used to shade with the burn tool, then moved on to darker shades xDD
I use a wacom bamboo pen and touch! bought it on sale for a little over $120~ what about you? Your colouring is great!!
