Well gender is a social construct, biological sex is not. and IMO sexual dimorphism is a thing with some animals. I identify as a woman now.

And yeah i was talking in a human context - and idk i read some interesting literature recently which shows that almost the only thing separating men and women are the genitalia and the hormones they produce; so there's not really a basis for biological sex (e.g., a) intersexism on a chromosomal level is far more common than was previously/is generally believed, and sometimes detecting it is a matter of getting karyotyped; and also b) the whole male-brain/female-brain thing is a myth and men are susceptible to a lot of changes that women are and vice-versa, even after 'set-in-stone' events such as puberty)
Interesting but unrelated fact is the body makes oestrogens from testosterone from progesterone lol. I just think it's ironic how a lot of people insist on a binary sex and equate gender w/ sex but ultimately that can be defied on a molecular level, since the body develops 'female' hormones from 'male' hormones in turn from 'female' hormones, but that's what you get when they're all steroids I guess
Not to mention in animal studies a lot of chromosomal studies have been/are being carried out with interesting results - calico cats for instance are very interesting due to having a 'switched off' sex chromosome, so that raised some interesting questions as to what biological sex actually entails, and whether it's even a necessary metric or not
So like, yeah, people - esp. conservatives - may not rly be ready to accept it but from the looks of it biological sex seems like it never should've held water in the first place
IDK, js, these are only my observations + what I've read about. ymmv ofc, and I'm always open to any literature/thoughtpieces that might suggest otherwise
All said and done tho, whatever you identify with is cool so long as it gives you comfort

Oh certainly there is something to it; just, it doesn't look like there is a big point to it anymore (viz. barriers created by a biological or chromosomal concept of sex are rudimentary/vestigeal/not really that important any more). Like some animals do weird things with sex for the strangest of reasons (examples include: hot water/cold water - weird ass Ranma 1/2 fish; heat/cold determining lizard sex; birds having weird chromosomes; calico cats and their chromosomal shutdowns being perfectly viable and fertile; etc.)
My ultimate point with all this is it's typically something I use in defence of like, non-cis gender identities lol (including my own gender-questioning-potentially-agender identity)

I said what I said about the card a long time before I saw his FA cards, which have a much better quality than whatever I could make(and considering how shitty my cards are, that 's saying something!) i do apologise sincerely. All in all, he's a much better cardmaker and i'm just a wretched hypocrite. For your own sake, please never fave or even look at my shitty cards.
