nothing much, glad the first semester is over, how about you? Heard you were working at Olive Garden. Will have to stop by and visit sometime. Because my last few visit attempts failed. Well you will have to try a little harder. i Quit working at "The OG" and I am actually working at Kief's Audio/Video, wich is a high-end home theater store in LAWRENCE. "Lawrence?" you ask, "Why work in Lawrence?" Well... two reasons.
1. To get away from you. Just kidding. It pays really well And i really enjoy it.
2. I live there now!!! Got my own place and every thing!
So far I'm loving Lawrence. I miss my Topeka friends but i'm still going to Washburn for a couple of classes so I still see them. Plus they can come over for all the 'ahem' bangin' parties that we always have every night. 'cough'
But my life is not perfect...yet. There are bills to pay, and homework to be ignored, and other stuff. But other than that every thing is perfect.
How has my favorite artist been? Kicking the world's ass I hope. I'm in Topeka for class every Tues/Thurs and i'm off Sundays(first time in my life that I've ever had a set schedule, and it rocks!), give me a call or shoot me a text some time so we can hang out.

heh, at work I hear about all the crazy parties. I found I'm allergic to alcohol and crazy parties like that aren't fun to me. I only go to get-together video-game parties with Halo or Brawl.
I'm very interested in this thing called The Disney College Program. I have to convince Washburn to let me do it. Sigh. I'm just stuck. I'm not sure what the next step is. I've spoken to the career services director at Washburn, and he says I have to convince a department to say it's good for me to go. And while down there, promise me they'll give me credit. GRRR I WANNA GOOOO!!!

I had a neopet account wayback when too. My poor pets are probabaly dying somewhere. I always liked shoyrus and aishas. : ) But I couldn't really get into the whole thing so I just sort of tried to stick to only buying neopet items. Around the time petpets came out I was gone. then I heard that they created petpetpets. Yeesh.

Actually Kinu was my original 'internet' name. I hated my real one at the time (middle school was a horrible thing). I actually at one point in my life wished my name really was Kinu. Some of my older internet friends still call me it.
my screen name for my dA account (which is my second one, first was 'Kinu' LOL) is based on my school German name. in German class they give you a different name.
Well, Neopets was the reason I started to draw. I wanted to be a ' popular' rp artist person. So I taught myself photoshop etc. nowadays I don't have much inspiration from anywhere to want to do any digital art. I've tried so hard to get into something to want to draw it.

Also I've been going through magazines and if some person interests me I'll draw them. Practice and more practice.

And oh man, I get the urge to draw when ever I get my haircut too. Partially because I can see again since my bangs are shorter, but also because I draw my hair always as it currently is. If it appears long in an image and then short the next day, you could guess that I got a haircut.

Barbie's friend...LOL. when they did some new barbies there was one I saw named Chelsea...I totally bought it. It's not even opened, I just bought it because 2 things. ONE, her name was Chelsea. TWO her hair was red. <3

Did you hear that Funimation was holding a survey for what their next big project should be and under it you could pick "Re-dub entire Sailor Moon series" EVEN STARS... I had a fan-girl moment. I voted for it 7 times. ^o^

Oh man. You know I really did like the original voice actress for Serena in the first season. She was great. And Even though Luna's voice was deeper and more womanly and with an accent no less, I REALLY liked it. I just hate the fact that EVERY freaking anime girl has this 3 year old's high pitched whiney retarded voice. It's so freaking annoying. Only the guys have a variety in voices. I hope if they do re-dub everything it isn't too different.
You know, great voice acting can do a lot for a show. The anime Midori Days absolutely reeked with bad plot and lack of a good story. BUT, the dubbed version, made me want to watch it in full. The actors speak remarkably well and don't overact or make a million grunts of effort sounds all the freaking time.

I loved Serena's voice for the original first season. Once that voice actress dipped, the other seasons were sooooo weird with her voice.
Well, if they re-dubbed it, we'd get to see a hand full of lost episodes that were never dubbed. Also original episode plots instead of severe copy and paste from other episodes and drawn over things. I remember when I was 14 and I found a website full of details of every episode of dubbed sailor moon compared to the original ep. I had NOT A SINGLE CLUE so much was ripped away. @@
Yes, good voice acting is amazing. one anime that took a while for voices to settle into their characters was 'Baccano!' all the characters had some sort of an accent. so near the end you can see how the voice actors were more comfortable with the accents. Such an amazing show.

It's really just that the original voice for Serena SET THE BAR. It was perfect.
I saw a website recently that listed almost all of the changes in the dubbed American-ized episodes. Who'd have thought that Serena's brother was in the first episode?
On that note, the guy pretty much disappeared. He was doomed to the same fate as Barbie's forever-stuck-in-the-80's sister Skipper THE DREADED MIDDLE CHILD, not cool enough to be Barbie, and not cute enough to be Kelly.
You know, I've always wondered just what the fudge happened to Serena's family? the COMPLETELY disappeared after a while.
The mom was kinda cool. And her dad was almost always gone.
The episode cuts are interesting though, because the censors were REALLY careful. Like in the first episode (uncut) the father has his mouth open for over 3 seconds. Which here in the states, is considered rude. So it was cut. I never really thought about that. Also it's too bad they cut out what he was reading in the newspaper he had, because it was an essential foreshadowing that ultimately was the only thing that gave him PURPOSE in that episode.
I'll have to watch this Baccano you speak of lol.

For an Acting 1 class I did, we had to do a one-act. and it had Brunette Barbie, Blonde Barbie, and Bad Barbie. I played barbie herself and in the end you find out bad barbie was the dollar store general brand barbie that was all different looking and she hated blonde barbie... it was the silliest One-act I'd ever done.

Back in the day they used to have little panties on her that you could take off...now they just mold them onto her. FOREVER TO WHERE PINK OR WHITE PANTIES. but ken seemed to always have them molded onto him... strange...
