His quirk is a mess of other shadow quirks, before you ask it's because he's the product of an experiment all for one did to create the perfect successor, at first he can only summon 4 shadow tendrils but as the series progresses he expands his abities like shadow form, shadow claw and others

No, when he was 3 something happened that caused his pod to release him, he was able to escape and was found by Inko and Izuku, he does possess certain parts of his programing let's say which causes him to attack all might but that sets off a few good things, there will be changes to the story but at the end of it Raiden will be a hero

also my idea is he's recaptured along with Izuku, Bakugo and shinso when their 9 and AFO tries to "fix" Raiden, the problem though due to certain factors his programming is needed to be reset but it's interrupted, this gets rid of directive to kill all might which is good afterward because, in this fic, Toshi and inko are a thing, way before UA

History: When Rai was 8 he was sold to the Yakuza to settle an old debt, for the first few weeks Rai would do nothing but cry until the leader of the Yakuza found out what one of his lieutenants did and soon took the boy under his wing, soon the boy was thought as a real member of the family, even after the boss's daughter gave birth to a baby girl and Rai took up the mantle of being her big brother. Things were good for a few years until Rai's sister quirk manifest and accidentally killed her father, soon after the mother disappeared, leaving only the Rai and the Yakuza boss who sadly died a few months later. there is more but i think you know where Rai is

Quirk: Energy/ Red Lightning: While Rai can use electricity, he is unable to conjure his own electricity except for a small amount (just enough to tazze someone) he absorbs electricity from nearby devices, he gets a more electricity when he's touching the device but can do it from a range but the amount is less, while he can store it for a while as time passes the amount decreases (think like a battery) Rai's electricity is a red variant instead of the usual yellow or blue. He can perform range attacks like shooting lightning and close quarters attack basic lightning punch, he's able to use power lines as a means of transport and can even dispel short burst of electricity to propel himself. during the raid arc, it's discovered that Rai can absorb not just electricity but certain types of energy, this was proven when Eri's quirk went of control but Rai was able to absorb and contain the energy as he was able to help Eri control her quirk
