Tools of the Trade: Sewing Machine, fabrics, pencils, watercolors, and my imagination
Other Interests: Dressing fashionably so that people won't suspect that I am some crazy costuming nerd who could quote a ton of movies. ^_^

A long time ago I thought I could be an actress. But I quickly found out that I could not keep a straight face for more then 5 minutes. So with that realization there came an alternative. Costumes.
Dress up. It is like living many lives with just one. It is such a awesome indulgence that has become my greatest passion.
My "aesthic" is simple: Everything. Be inspired by everything. I do many different genres, I have yet to find a favorite. But we'll see. ;)
So stay with me as I dress for many adventures, and try to catalogue all the ideas that go through my head. I hope it'll be worth your while.

Wow you must be SUPER stressed with finals AND moving! I can't imagine that. But at the same time you must be super excited about going to a new place. 
Oh my gosh, I would TOTALLY be taking some costumes with me if I was moving! Heck yes. I mean, I would have to dress up once in a while to keep me sane.
Well I am sure looking forward to seeing how you'll use the new landscape in your photos.

I can't imagine a world without travelling! It'd be sooo boring ^^ I'm taking a medieval-inspired gown, a medieval kirtle and surcoat and a tartan crinoline (if they fit in my suitcase and I finish them in time, ofc) Thanks for your good wishes *-* I'll certainly need luck, hope you can do new stuff too. ooops i'm so tired i don't even know what i write lol i think i was going to say something about your bustle questions? i'd advise you to add ruffles in the structure you use so that the volume in the skirt "flows" in a continuous line, i'm sure you know that but well xD i tried!

No, no, that is a great suggestion! Adding ruffles is so logical, I didn't think of it.
I am totally going to do that. I've seen it on several museum pieces and just thought they were for decorative effect. But you saying that they are more makes more sense.

Your gallery is quite nice because you seem to do both of these things well: you take a picture of the costume in detail, and then you arrange a photo of the costume in a thematic environment. Neither is easy! Well done. Oh! And you listen to Josh Groban? How cool is that!
