Jareth thanks you for theΒ Β on 'You Remind Me Of The Babe'Β
Thanks. At the moment I'm just practicing with my new markers as work is taking up most of my time but I still need to do art.
Thanks also for the watch, it's really appreciated

I can't remember the last time I used my pro markers!
Really want to get back into it though! And no problem, like I said I can't wait to see more of your work

Lol
Well my weapon of choice is usually Faber Castell Polychromos but with very little time for realism art at the moment, that's why I'm having fun getting used to these markers.
I always post on Sundays and occasionally an extra piece at some point in the week if I've had the time.

Ahh I see, my normal doodles are any mechanical pencil I can get a hold of with a Faber castell fine liner pen set. But if I wanna do a bigger picture it would be traditional to digital :3 I try and post as much as I can but it ends up being a binge one a month heh

Then I'll leave the digital work to you and stick to my pencils - lol
I used to post 3 times a week but things change and now I just have Saturday afternoons to do something for the week.

I think I enjoy both the same amount but digital is just easier to fix if I mess up, heh
Well that's good! At least you put some time aside to draw and upload! I am such a procrastinator that can't set a schedule for myself π

I missed the boat for digital art as I was taught old school and I neither have the money, tech or time to learn it.
Plus I'd have to relearn how to do things I can instinctively do with the pencils
It will remain art magic to me - lol.
I need art as a way to unwind from work. It's that or writing
I always keep a schedule, otherwise I'd lose track of what to do and when!

Heh no I had to teach myself when I was younger, only got into it properly the last 2 years. It is strange thing wanting to tech for a rubber or move the tablet to get the same angle on the screen! An old friend of mine use to give me tips on how to do certain things...then you learn that you have to find your own way of doing it cause your style is just that, your own!
I like to draw at work (I work in an office on the phone all the time) so I only get the chance when I'm not speaking to people. But I miss writing, I have started my own book but keep putting it down. I also like to Rp (original games and fan ones) I have a couple of people who are great but don't really have the time anymore.
But I should start making a schedule! Might help with the frantic nature of mine π

It looks fascinating but I still think I'll be better off with traditional materials.
Besides, there are so many digital artists who are way better than me I'll be okay keeping it old school.
Lol, I guess there was an entertaining learning curve on the tablet
I can't take my stuff to work as I like certain materials, space and most importantly, some quiet!
I make time for the writing. my first book was finished last year, currently working on the second and the third is planned out.
It's a good way to unwind from work.
Hopefully you'll find some time - if you make a schedule

We all have our preferences! I like using lots, but know I'm better at traditional than digital
But I also feel the same way though, people make it look so flawless!
It was deffo not the easiest to learn on your ownΒ Β
I have a book, pencils, sharpener and rubber, that's about it at work....so not the most amazing stuff, but it's a relief really like you said!
Cool! Anything I might have heard of? Would love to have a read of it! can I find it on Amazon?

If money was no object and I didn't have to work then I'd probably give it a go but right now I'll stick with what works
Yep, some people make it look like magic!
I hear that. Sometimes teaching yourself is the hardest thing to do!
It was submitted for publication at the end of last year but it can take up to 12 months before it reaches final consideration with the publisher so I'll know by Christmas this year if it got anywhere.
Whatever happens, I've still had a lot of fun writing it

I want the voodoo power to make my work pop heh π bit yeah, wish I could just draw and write all day, that would be my favourite job ever!
Yeah and also you become the worst kind of teacher for yourself due to being harder on yourself.
Well I wish you all the success with your book! Hope it gets published!

Don't we all. Sometimes I look at projects and hate them but people like them.
Sometimes I get ones I really love and they don't get noticed.Β
I guess that's the nature of art.
Indeed, we're our own worst critics and always see that one mistake even if no-one else can.
Yep, if I could write and draw all day, that would be my dream job. I have so many projects I'd like to do and not enough time.
Thank you
It's part one of a trilogy and I have enough story to do a sequel trilogy as well if it goes the distance.
Feedback from BETA readers has been overwhelmingly positive so I'm taking that as a good sign so far.
