We as artist should always strive to develop our art and get better at what we do, but unfortunatly, I guess we all have to priorotize our time:/ Is there anything in particular you feel you want to improve?

Hi, your gallery drew my attention. I think you have good skills, and you definitely have an artistic perspective on things. There is one remark that might help you improve even more. Everybody might do this as some point, so please don't take this negatively. It seems like you focus a lot on some details, but don't care much for other areas of the drawing. Try to bring the artwork to a consistent level of detail, even if that might mean less detailing overall. You'll see, it will be much easier on the eye. Anyway, keep up the good work.

I recognize the problem you're adressing, and I'm working on it! Mostly I get overwhelmed by all the detail-work that needs to be done, don't know where to start and then stick with working on what I somehow know how it should look like (like horses and faces) rather than environment and textures.

I really appreciate you taking your time and pointing it out to me though, it motivates me to actually work on my deficiencies :) (Smile)

Thanks for the great attitude on this subject. :) (Smile) One technique that might help you would be to just start with a loose sketch with color blobs and then work slowly adding more detail, without zooming in. Another way to improve is to watch speed-paintings on youtube, you can choose one artist who inspires you and most likely there will be this kind of resource uploaded by that person online. I personally like Sara Tepes's technique, but there are many others to look up to. Anyway, I hope this helps. Watching others draw always teaches me a lot. Good luck!
