Favorite TV shows: Arrested Development, Firefly, The Office, The IT Crowd, Wilfred, The Big Bang Theory

Favorite games: Pretty much anything by Bethesda, WoW, The Witcher Series, AoE, etc. generally antying well done in the way of RPGs and RTSs

Tools of the Trade: Pencil, Paper, I'm not really competent with anything else. Not that I'm competent with a pencil.

Honestly best advice I can give you is to just observe. Look around deviant art everyday. Look at the type of things you like to draw then look at things you wouldn't normally look at. Click randomly and just get inspired by what you see. Also draw everyday. Draw at school, draw at home, just draw constantly. Practice will get you far.
