I loved the series, as well, and I'm currently reading the spin-off series. If I judge the movie by it's accuracy, which I do, then it was terrible. However, as a movie alone it was decent enough.

It's ridiculous. When the plot is pre-written by another person, all you have to do is make the actors read the book and say things. Not that difficult! It's the same for Percy Jackson.

(EXACTLY! SHE'S A BLONDE!) And in The Outsiders: As much as I LOVED Matt Dillon as Dallas (My favorite actor playing my favorite character. Best. Shit. Ever.), they at least could have got his hair color or his eye color right!

Yea! I always hate that! that is the first thing I always notice in a movie, like 'ewww your supposed to be a ginger why do you have black hair' or 'the book talked about his baby blue eyes so much, how can he have brown eyes!'

Harry Potter, too. Harry was supposed to have these SHOCKING GREEN EYES THAT WERE MENTIONED 2000 TIME PER BOOK, however his eyes were blue in the movie. Lily was supposed to have the same green eyes as Harry (In the movie they should have been blue, because of Daniel Radcliffe's allergy o the green contacts. At least they tried.) however, they were brown.

I thought that Emma, Rupert, and Daniel were great choices for the trio throughout all eight movies. Regardless, Emma Watson could have been better at the acting, and Daniel could have put less "effort" in, if you know what I mean. You could see he was trying too hard. Rupert was perfect at it, though. That's why he's my second favorite actor. :3

I have to agree. Harry potter is one of the first legit books i read. so when i saw the movies (being my 10 year old self) I loved them! Though the acting could have been improved its still one of the better adaptations i have witnessed in my life.

Yea when the building fell, when Johnny died, and when Dallas died. (the first time i read it) the other times i cried a bit more but i think the first time is when it really counts because the other times your like "he told him to stay like the sun set *starts to cry* just like when he dies in nine more chapters" soooooooo yea thats my logic
