Hey, remember me? I was just wondering if you had any free time in the near-future.
As you can probably already guess, I've got a another art request for you. But unlike my previous ones, this one's completely simple, no special poses, no emphasis on anything.
See I recently started writing a new Naruto story and I was considering a clothes change for Team 7 (still 12 years old). All I'm asking is if you'd be interested in drawing them in the stuff I've thought up, to see if it actually fits together or if it's a complete bust.
If you don't wanna, I fully understand. I won't bug you again if not. I just ask for a reply in the reasonably near-future, okay?

Heh, I completely forgot about that Gaara beatdown request. You don't have to do that one anymore if you don't wanna. To be honest, that one had mostly just a spur of the moment request to bloat up my ego for that scene.
Anyway, while I do have some ideas for Team 7's outfits, I'm always open for new ideas and suggestions. So if you think you've got something better, feel free to add or remove as you see fit.
Here's my current ideas for Team 7's outfits.
Sasuke – Hitai-ate (blue), partially open white sleeveless jacket (Uchiha fan on back), blue short-sleeved undershirt (Uchiha fan on shoulders), black forearm guards, blue sash tied on right hip (kanji for thunder), blue pants, black sandals
Sakura – Hitai-ate (red), red battle kimono (pink leaf patterns), black undershirt, black forearm guards, pink sash tied on left hip (kanji for rain), light pink skirt, black spandex shorts, red shin guards, black sandals
Naruto – Hitai-ate (orange), orange sleeveless jacket (Uzumaki spiral on back), black w/orange stripes long-sleeved undershirt (Uzumaki spiral on shoulders), storage harness worn on back and across chest used to carry giant fan (Temari's battle fan), orange sash tied in front (kanji for wind), black cargo shorts, black sandals
FYI: The sashes (or something similar) with the kanji is a new 'theme' I want Team 7 to share. I want to eventually give them some nicknames that correspond with those sashes, sort like an identifying mark that sets them apart like Asuma's Fire sash that the Twelve Guardians of the Fire Temple wear? If you can understand what I'm trying to say.

No problem. To be honest, I'm not in any IMMEDIATE need at the moment anyway. Take as much time as you need.
The basic premise of these characters was if one of them had been given the facts and other information regarding his family shortly after their deaths. He gets the info from a scroll that his own future self sent back in time by the use of a super-forbidden kinjutsu ritual. Thus the kid spends the rest of his life secretly plotting to avenge his family against the ones who were TRULY responsible, thus his anger and pain doesn't get so wildly out of control like his canon self.
And one of the other effects of him getting this information is that it unintentionally sets him down a path of befriending his future teammates when they're still just little kids in the academy.
Sasuke will always be a bit antisocial, but he's grown to be very fond of his friends over the years. But while they're his friends, he also sees them as rivals and sparring partners, just not to the extreme as Sasuke-canon was shortly before his defection. Sasuke is actually the motivator of Team 7 to improve their skills, usually outside of the academy. And after he learned the truth of the Massacre, Sasuke all but lost his budding hatred for Itachi and once again began idolizing him, despite being resigned to the fact that he will have to one day fight and kill him to fulfill Itachi's wish of 'redemption'. A peculiar effect of this returning idolization is that he unintentionally passes a small amount of it onto Sakura and Naruto, giving them a big brother figure to idolize as well.
But Sasuke's early friendship of his teammates eventually leads to the discovery and emergence of a long-dormant bloodline (Hyouton, like Haku) in Sakura that was awakened due to a traumatic experience. As a result, she begins putting in far more effort in her training so that she can better control her bloodline abilities. But because of the unfortunate history linking to the bloodline, she and the boys keep it a secret until after they graduate for her protection from the Yondaime Mizukage. Another consequence of their early interaction is that while she does have a small crush on him, Sakura is not a rabid fangirl of Sasuke's. She values his friendship too much and she sees him and Naruto as almost brothers (and she is like a sister to them as well).
Naruto is both much more carefree and childish than his canon self. This is because he didn't spend all his time sulking over his lack of friends because he now had Sasuke and Sakura. He still does greatly want to be Hokage and his determination is still very strong. But he's not as clueless or questionably retarded as he was in canon because Sasuke and Sakura have helped to slightly improve his skills over the years. And, shortly after the bell test, Kakashi has started training Naruto in a basic Fuuton jutsu. My hope for this is to use it as a possible catalyst of a fight between Temari and Naruto later on. And they make a bet as to the outcome of their duel: if Temari won, Naruto had to burn his old orange outfit (canon clothes); but if Naruto won, he gets to keep Temari's battle fan. Naruto won.
My idea for their new outfits is that they go on an unexpectedly long-term mission and need a new change of clothes after their current ones get badly shredded from the multiple fights they get into. Thankfully, after one such fight, a civilian they'd helped repaid them with some new clothes free of charge.
