Primarily a biologist whose interests range in the field of animal behavior and evolutionary adaptations, but it's hard to pick one love in science. I also love to dabble in writing, arts, and crafts as hobbies, but I still look to improve and combine my interests so I have more time for both. My heart revolves around animals, and I love being outdoors and nature itself, it is where I derive most of my inspiration and find my center in art, photography, and life.This account is to post pictures of my personal specimen collection to share. I originally started this collection as I had always wanted to be a biologist, and finally becoming one 6 years passed, at some point in time I would love to give public lectures/seminars in wildlife biology and conservation.
Poets say science takes away from the beauty of the stars - mere globs of gas atoms. I, too, can see the stars on a desert night, and feel them. But do I see less or more?

ahahha I like that you liked the post.Β Actually they do provide some solid biological information in their rant.Β However it's only half the picture on population control, not the whole- they only look at the lower side of carrying capacity, which is the ideal they are using to defend their argument.Β However they don't look at the high/overpopulation side to it, and I guarantee you dying of starvation looks about 5,000x worse than dying of a bullet.Β An entire herd of antelope died here one winter because the snow was too deep to get to food so they starved and most threw up their stomachs from their mouth, while others literally froze standing in place.Β All because too many animals and no food.Β That seems a lot worse to me than getting shot dead hahaha and I would start one to correct shit, but then it'd be vegan retardation trolling on my account 24/7.Β I like vegans that aren't PETA style gun-ho, but a lot of the things you've sent me from tumblr make me want to punch things.

And yea it is the most metal thing ever.Β But also horrible. That's why when people are like LEAVE DEM BE for overpopulation I get a lil upset.Β Had I been older I would have taken pictures and posted that for people to see.Β That or when they get blue tongue and they can't breathe or eat or drink and that happens with over crowding too.Β I am with you on poaching and stuff, or when people just kill shit to be 'cool' type of thing like a lot of trophy hunting...at least use it for something.

hahaha it's kinda gross.Β It's weird though because I look online for articles about it when I got older, because I thought it would be a common thing when things starve, but I haven't found any mention or articles about it, so I don't know.Β Maybe it was just our antelope or something, or maybe they had a disease because of the starvation.Β either way I'd still rather be shot.Β And blue tongue would be horrible.Β My dad shot an antelope at end of season and counted it as his even though we couldn't eat the meat, just to put it out of its misery.Β It sounds horrible anyway to hemorrhage and have your tongue swell up so you can't breathe and shit.Β www.deermanagement.us/blue-tonβ¦

I will if I ever find it because I am curious.Β I know it happened here, but there doesn't seem to be many accounts of it elsewhere?Β I'll have to see if there is a newspaper article about it.Β It was when I was fairly young so not sure, but maybe the fish and game has something on it.Β
And yea it kinda is that way, though I have met a few dickface hunters before as well, so yea.Β Β I think there are good and bad on both sides.

The best part of that argument is that the grain used for livestock is typically waste grain, and the parts that humans cannot consume-like stalks full of lignin and cellulose that we cannot digest, or seed coats. The only parts of grain a human can actually eat is the very inner seed/starch if it is processed 95% of the time.Β So that grain can't feed 800 million people.Β They'd eat it and still starve because we can't get the nutrients out like ruminant/cecum digesting livestock can.Β The rest provides absolutely no nutrients and becomes fiber that will be crapped out.Β Not to mention humans have evolved as evolutionary omnivores (hence our canine teeth), and that animal flesh is the only thing that provides complete proteins which obviously our body needs to make nearly everything : Muscle, tendon, ligaments, hormones, antibodies brain function etc are all dependent on proteins built from amino acids we get from consuming OTHER proteins OOP.Β ^~^Β Even legumes, which have a lot of protein in them, lack complete protein and need to be supplemented, so a pure plant diet cannot fly.Β
That and I still love the argument that people think it's okay to eat plants over animalsΒ because basically they have no face, fuzzy parts, eyes, or feelings.Β However, when you cut a plant like a tuber or lettuce and it leaks white stuff or 'water', it is actually the plant's response to being cut-like human bleeding, and it's trying to clot the area.Β Therefore the plant senses that pain/missing part and responds hahhaha BUT IT'S STILL OKAY TO EAT IT BECAUSE IT DIDN'T MAKE A NOISE WHEN I CUT IT, SO IT DIDN'T FEEL ANY PAIN.

Pretty much. I dislike arguments that hinge on absolutely NO fact or substance, other than a person's personal attachment.Β Don't get me wrong, I love wolves (obviously or I wouldn't homegurl them all the time ^~^ ), but to think they are above everything else is just as *michael jackson voice* ignorant as humanity thinking themselves above the rest of the animal kingdom.
