# About me

Hello, my name is Michael Letsom,

I am overly obsessed with anything superhero related! My favorite heroes are, Ghost Rider, Jackie Estacado from The Darkness, Nightcrawler, Martian Manhunter Green Lantern, Hulk and Captain America. I've been reading comics for years but I think my favorite series that I ever read was everything from the Blackest Night event with DC several years back. Currently my favorite comic has been consistently "Colder" from Paul Tobin and Dark Horse.

I know the purest dread it, but we are inevitably going to enter a digital age of comics. I think right now we are just starting to scratch the surface of it but it has really had such a major impact on comics already, plus in this day and age where comics ares so prevalent, we are right around the corner from digital becoming the standard and print becoming the "vinyl" of the industry. I for one completely embrace this and I am very excited to see what the future of the "digital format" brings us. With the technologies that we currently have and the conveniences of our devices, their are so many possibilities that haven't been realized yet. And at the end of the day, I don't care what you say, nothing is nicer than sitting up at 2 in the morning with a bright lit tablet reading comics. :)

I think the future will bring us a medium that allows us to take advantage of the technologies of recent times, while retaining the imaginative and immersive components that make a comic a "comic."
