why should we say 'no' to male nude shots on dA? i mean, not that i really like those, but why forbid them, if there (obviously) are people who like them? do they hurt someone?

It's just a humorous taunt, or it should be at least. Nothing meaningful enough to debate about. Although I think that female nudes have some kind of fluency and 'poetry' that male nudes lack. I admire everything that's round, sleek and has a clean shape. It applies to everything, not only women - chairs, cars, cups... Take your pick. Straight to the point - men have much uglier design. I'm an esthete, that's all. I'd like to think that it is an objective and unbiased opinion, but I doubt it is. I've never demanded to forbid them, not really. If someone finds them interesting, that's their choice. I accept it, I don't like it a bit, but it doesn't matter at all. After all, we have a freedom to like, say and express whatsoever we like to. And it works both ways, doesn't it? I must admit, I'm positively surprised that someone was concerned enough to write a message about it. Thanks... I guess.
But, I must say, a sight of somebody else's 'business' never made my day.
