im not sure if u traced or wat but there is no such thing as owing a style. if u have been a otaku, you would clearly know that alot of styles look alike. if your gonna say she is copying puni's
style then you might as well say everybody is copying,

Are people still ragging on you about having 's style?! ;A; tha-thats just dumb! your style might look similer but it's not like you traced it!. i mean 's art looks like hers an-and 's style look's like 's style anyway! so how is it that you get called a copy cat when it's not even really her style?!? their are millions of people on DA i mean some of them are gonna look alike anyway!

You wouldn't see the entirety of it with that example.
Still though, you'll notice inspired adoptables have the same height and proportions, the same type of hair outlining, the contours of the face are nonexistent because of hair, and I've seen that very outfit in different colours on an older deviation Puni had removed.
Even the creases on clothing fit with my memory of the outfit, even though the concept itself may not be that original past the usual huge ribbon, classic of Puni but not limited to her.
I wonder how closely it'd resemble that chibi if I were able to check it.
Those details I mentioned are all specific of Puni.
That's why I personally consider it's just too much :/
It's one thing to adapt another artist's features into your own to enhance your own style, and another to switch to their style altogether and ditch yours, because her usual chibis have bigger heads and are taller, missing those specifics related to Puni altogether.
There's a difference between inspiration and copying. And while I know she gave her the ok to reference, I'm pretty sure she didn't actually mean take her style, but adapt features from her own to build on something that's already there.

God you guys need to leave this girl alone. She hasn't done anything that anyone else hasn't done at least once: learning by observing. How else is anyone supposed to learn to draw without learning from other artists?
It's pretty bad that I get a note because I FAVED one of this girl's chibis. Puni is a great artist, but you can't OWN a style. There's way too many similar ones out there to say one person has a claim on it. And Fae's art is different enough to be considered her own twist on it.

Hello there. I actually hate wasting my time on things like this, but I wanted to tell you that you should stop emulating 's style.
It's not cool at all. Even if you draw it, it's almost the same as stealing.
I said wasting because you will not care a shit about what i'm saying and you'll keep on doing it; but please consider that you are hurting the original artist.
You should try to find your own style.

Her 'style' is a mix-match of other style, it just happens that K-on sticks out the most in it. Okay before you go off on that part either, every artist mix-matches styles. Any 'style' is 40% Inspirations, 30% Practice, and 30% their own work. Please understand that no one's style is unique.

Ok How in the world Can anyone call you a tracer? Tracing means that you are copying over somone elses pictures and using them as your own. But you have to be copying them to a T almost and i dont see anyway how your copying their art. ._. Seriously people just stop hating. I think its good your studieing off of another art style you look up to. It helps you to inwardly devlop your own style in the process. In order to get good you have to study and pratice off of other styles that you enjoy. And thats exactly what your doing. Keep up the good work and improvment

Oh My Glob, why do I feel that 98.89 percent of the hidden comments here about OtherworldlFae tracing? I mean, even if she traces, you don't need to spam her about it. I'm not a supporter of tracers, but is there and legitimate proof that she traces? I took a look at 's, the art is similar, but I see a few details stating otherwise. I don't want any hate spam, but if you need to say anything harsh to her, keep it to yourself. She's obviously sick and tired of all these, and probably gets the point you're trying to state. Whether she does trace or not in your eyes, whether you believe her or not, I'll choose to believe and trust her words.
