Maybe you could make the guy crazy? You could still get rid of his real arm...but make it so that he didnt loose it in the war...but that he cut his own arm off to replace it with a robotic arm in an attempt to sort of upgrade himslf.

Well the charator I have creatred is a man who thinks that the only way to stop the evil of the world is to destory it and start all over kinda like a great floor.
He is like a normal buiness man but lost his hand during the war that is now replaced by a robotic clawed hand

Well i think that's a decent idea...But i think you have to think about why the guy thinks that destroying the world is the only way to save humanity. Think about his state of mind, most people might think it crazy to destroy the world.
I think that the robotic clawed hand is a bit of a cliche, a lot of people have done this...try to think of something else. You need to create a background to the character.
