Well, it took me quite a while, but I finally got some of the papercraft arcade machine templates I've been working on in the past uploaded to my gallery! Check 'em out when you get the chance! I've got more on the way at some point in the future, too. Feel free to download and make them yourself for your arcade! I'd like to see what you do with them.

Very good work. I have not made any of these in a long time. Perhaps you have inspired me to add your work to the arcade. I will send you some shots if I get around to it. Thanks for showing me these. I had not really thought about making some of the ones that you had made. I have not thought about Cadash in a while.Β

You are by far much better at it than I am. Great job on all your templates.

Hello. I don't know where to start but oh well,
i don't know if you take request or what, but i freaking love your work as far as arcade machine papercraft and i'd really like to have a papercraft of The Simpsons arcade machine from way back.
This one : www.co-optimus.com/images/uplo…

iGREKKESS has a Simpsons template in their gallery. There's also an older template in the Paper Arcade album on Flickr, but the angle on the control panel is way off. iGREKKESS' model is more accurate. I've also got a TMNT and a Sunsetriders template in my gallery that can also be used as a base for making other models that use the 4-player Konami cabinet. Mine is based on the Paper Arcade one but I "redrew" the control panel section using a diagram for building an accurate reproduction TMNT cabinet for reference. Check out the Paper Arcade album, as well as WayoftheRodent.com, and iGREKKESS and MisterBill82's galleries on DeviantArt for more great models! The Outrun86 site has templates for Out Run and Space Harrier cockpit cabinets that were originally published in SEGA'a Dorimaga magazine in Japan. (though you might have to search through the site for a while to find them) Matica.com has several pinball machine templates available to download, and Konami USED to have several templates for some Japanese games and a game center diorama for their "Desktop Arcade" collection on their website. They're not on their site anymore, but I've got the templates archived so, unless it's against DeviantArt's policies, I'd like to upload them into my gallery at some point so others can have another chance to get them.

Thanks for your kind comments. I have not made any further papercraft templates in a long time. I do remember seeing that somebody had already made this one before. You can google search it and I'll be you will find it. It was a 4 player verison.

Again, thanks for adding my deviations to your favourites. It's cool to see a fellow arcade fan. If you'd like to see the machine I helped make, which some of the artwork you faved went on to, I uploaded a video of the machine to YouTube. Unfortunately, we didn't have the money to print high quality versions of my artwork, so the bezel and side art never went on, but we did do a low quality print of my marquee.

Video of the machine: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK6hl4…

If I have the money some day, I might try printing my artwork for it, but by that point, I might even have to create new artwork for it to whatever standard I have in the future.

Your video of your mame cabinet is really cool. I love Dragons Lair. Did you use the Daphne project for that or something else?

The frontend supports tons of different emulators, it's called Maximus Arcade, but I have no idea which emulator was used for the Daphne games. My memory is useless.

Hey hey, thanks for adding my work ''Retro Rampage!'' to your favourites! I get why you like it, what with your arcade web series and all! Best of luck with that!

I am working on a script that takes place in an Arcade and uses still images with live voice recordings to advance the storyline. I really don't have a set date for the first episode to be complete due to the fact that I am doing this in my spare time. It will be a series of short episodes also so they won't be like a full length movie. I am of course using action figures and many papercrafted arcade units that I have either found the templates on the web or created myself. Thanks for the interest!

Yeah pretty much everything I do is in my spare time, when I can get past all the time I waste procrastinating. Been hit hard with that lately, dang it.
Well, like I said, sounds very cool and hope it all goes well for you!

I have already done this one before. Somebody had made the fist two of these and I made UMK3 and MK4 as a template. You don't by any chance have a good Right side shot of the Artwork for Killer Instinct 2 with B. Orchid do you?

No I don't. Everything on this except the Johnny cage artwork and logo is actually by hand, these aren't from photos. I drew it all

Papercrafter1 In reply to MisterNefarious [2013-11-05 10:30:59 +0000 UTC]

You are an amazing artist. I can't even draw stick figures and have them look very good. I though of a comic series called Gen and Eric Generic. They were a brother and sister team that tried to help people but wound up hurting them in the end. They were stick figures because I didn't know anybody to draw them. The only scene I ever drew was with Eric lying over a city and he sees a little lady trying to cross the street with a walker. He swoops down to help her and accidently bumps her into traffic and she gets run over. That was my kind of humor as a teen.

MisterNefarious In reply to Papercrafter1 [2013-11-05 20:35:48 +0000 UTC]

Well, we all start with stick figures.

Stick figures are how I still start, all you need to do is make sure your stick figures have some proportion to them.
