I'd rather be critical, but use it in a positive manner that tries to help you be a better writer. I don't like being speechless. It only leaves more room for the random, weird stuff that really doesn't have much place as a feedback message. Something like that.

That is all that I really want from any form of critique. I want that constructive criticism to help me improve my writing skills. If that is how you choose to be critical, then I certainly welcome your input! I know what you mean about being speechless. The point of feedback is to help the receiver progress with their craft. Empty words are much less useful than sharp criticism. I'd rather receive constructive criticism than blind praise because I can, at the very least, get some good out of the former. However, I don't want that critique to be relentlessly negative, too. I just want all real feedback to be honest. I value honesty above all else.
