Merry Christmas, my little plebeians. I hope you have been good this year (not murdering, eating your vegetables, not saying scandalous things to your mailman and plumber, etc). I know it is last minute, but consider this a "spontaneous" livestream, because I have to go to Colorado at the end of the month, and this is the one weekend I can do it!
For this early Christmas Day (December 22, 2018 | 12 PM CST), I am accepting art REQUESTS (free artwork), starting now, for each person. I will draw your original character (OC), favorite fan character, you, your cat/dog, your family member, you kissing your most hated enemy because you actually have some serious sexual tension with him/her, a turtle, etc. Turtles are great to draw for Christmas!

I am pretty close to the people at the university College of Business because I work there, and the Center of Entrepreneurship program manager who I have competed in many competitions for came to my office this Spring Break, and is like:
Him: When I think of death, I think of you.

HOW HAS SCHOOL AND LIFE BEEN FOR YOU, PEEP? WHEN IS THE NEXT TIME YOU WILL BE MORE ACTIVE ON DA? I HAVE BEEN INACTIVE BECAUSE OF SCHOOL, BUT MAYBE I MISSED YOUR POSSIBLE ACTIVE PERIOD MAYBE?
I am doing my best not to despise myself not for not going on DA more, but that is just because I am dealing with so much right now (I am contemplating my terrible landlord issue. I think I will just ignore him unless it is an emergency and CONSTANTLY be ready to defend because he needs to explanation because he is quite ignorant all the time. I do not think being old is an excuse anymore. Some of the stuff he has said to me is not a generational thing. It is just plain ANNOYING!)

Well I am about to graduate (highschool) in May! So, the only things I'm dealing with now are the perpetual onslaught of "What are you gonna do with your life?" questions~ haha oh man! But other than that things are going good on this end~

Hi, Peep. Going to rant to your about something:
So I went to a birthday party of my friend (it was just 4 hours ago), and she brought her other friends there, and I truly felt again what it was like to meet and attempt to argue/debate/explain to people who had a different methology to life, and I saw holes in what they felt, the angerness/cynicism that they had for life, how that infected the words and generalizations they had while speaking of liberal acceptance. And so I finished drawing my picture in the birthday party and left early, and all I could think was "These are good people." But I could not help but arrogantly feel, "They are not where I am."
I am more OPTIMISTIC, I do NOT see so much negativity in the government (and if I do, I feel a strong sense of control in what I can do to affect the people around me and my own life), even if I cannot control everything. For example, that is what I explained to them when they talked about something that bothers them, like libertarians that simply believe what they believe on the internet and claim that is "libertarian". For example, they said "I hate it when people skew libertarian definitions, like claiming safety belt rules are anti-liberatism because it is a government suppression", and I ask them if they feel it is worth it to try to try to explain something so simple as "safety belt rules is not a non-victim personal choice to not let the government control you ,and thus, that is a stretch of libertarian definition" to someone? And they say they do it because "these people are our friends", so they feel an obligation to try to persuade these people and try to educate them, only going into more and more debate. I DO NOT try to convince people who are already so differing in foundation of research. Those who stay to try to persuade them (despite one of them saying "I am not trying to convince them! I just present information they do not like and try to educate them." YOU ONLY DO THAT TO SKEW THEM TOWARDS A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW THAN THEY HAVE NOW), of course find themselves trying to explain their point of view to a stranger in a birthday party.
During the talk, these people were explaining they are clinically depressed, heavily cynical about life (one of them said they hate Christmas because it is just a cop out for jerks to feel special for being helpful nice for one time of year and then go back to being jerks, and I said "This is assuming those people are jerks. That's your subjective opinion they are jerks. And at least holidays give them an opportunity to be nice instead of none at all", and they said " If they are not going to be nice all the time, then they shouldn't be nice at all", and then they proceed to say that it is stupid and logically wrong that "anti-environmentalists say there is no reason to help the planet because factories will keep polluting and people won't recycle much, so there is no point to be good to earth". If you can see the mis-logic in what those anti-environmentalism people say, you cannot see the general mis-logic in the negative way you percieve holidays?
And many of them were talking about being heavily in debt they are because of hospital bills, so "all doctors just want money from you" (to which I said "Not all of them. I have met very good not for profit doctors"), and then they turn around and criticize generalizations of sexes, while conveniently forgetting about they generalize the government, rich, doctors, and those that have more than them. Then, to show that I had frustrations like them, I explained how I did not like the stigma of hard skills (math, science, etc) vs "soft skills" (art, literature, etc) which is given the atmosphere of "less logical and important", and THEN THAT GROUP THEN TOLD ME "wellll, I can understand why people would call them soft skills. That's just a label that was used to help you understand"....AND I UNDERSTAND THIS. BUT THEN APPLY WHAT THEY JUST SAID TO WHAT THEY SAID BEFORE...THEN THEY ARE JUST INCONSTANT WITH THEIR CYNICAL POINT OF VIEW OF GOVERNMENT LABELS OF THEM, MONEY, AND ALL AROUND POLITICS AND SOCIAL MEDIA? I can take consistent ignorance/generalizations, but when you do not like something because it is inconvenient to you, and then turn around and explain the okay-ness for other stereotypes but do not notice your hypocrisy, that is just "immature inconsistency and a non-stable following of principle". What DO you stand for? You still have so much to grow up for. I can write down a piece of paper and notice how I can be inconsistent, and try to fix it. But I cannot sit here and talk to a stranger and spout this nonsense but mess up your principle reputation when you give your next opinion afterwards. Just, wharughh???!
Sorry, ugh, just had to explain my great frustrations and confusion with that group.

I was actually going to wait to reply to this so I could articulate my opinion on the matter or how I follow what you're saying, but honestly you covered every point of your reason so well that, I can understand why you are frustrated~
not to go off topic, but this would make a really strong argument for a thesis paper~
