You know selling your fanart for money is illegal right? There's a legal thing called "Copyright infringement" you have to worry about.
If it was an art for art thing, it'd be fine as no money is exchanged.
but if you're selling art of existing characters you don't hold the copyrights for, you're committing a crime and can and will be punished.

Not really... fan comics and anime dounjins are really popular at conventions and have been for years (I'm guesing you may have never been to a convention before). So long as you don't claim the character as you're own and you're not making like thousands of dollars from your fan made thing it's fine. No company is going to clamp down on an artists selling their character for chump change.Β
