Thanks a lot! I haven't really got any particular questions, I'm quite much a starter and I need help with the very basic things of it. If you have any tips, I'd love to know, even if they're really simple

Sure no problem. The most basic advice I can give is to use nice professional watercolors rather than the solid block watercolors. The professional tube paints are liquid to begin with so if you want to you don't even need to dilute them with water. This will give you much more vivid colors, more control over where you lay the paint and since you're using less water it won't destroy the paper.
Let me know if you ever have any specific questions. I would love to help out.

That is my opinion, seeing how you are exceptionally skilled and how little views you have gotten ; that may be due to the fact you're new and fan- boys-girls may start stalking you soon. I should stop babbling and go back hit the bong, I am watching you man.

Omygosh, look at you! You've become so popular, don't sell out now! (Kidding!)
Well, since you're offering your awesome proffesional-ness and help, I just wanted to ask: Have you ever worked with art markers? I just bought some today and was wondering if you had a few tips.

I really haven't done a whole lot with art markers. I only have about 6 shades of warm and cool grays for adding really quick shading to rough concept sketches. I can say though that you might want some nice paper. If you use a thin paper like printer paper the markers will bleed a lot. The won't stay in your lines and you might get some really muddy looking drawings. If you get really serious you'll definitely want to try out a nice thick paper like Bristol Smooth.
You can also get some neat layering effects with them, you just have to let the markers dry before you go over them again. If you try to marker over a wet marker layer you might pull little pieces of the paper off.
I hope these help... I really need to get better with art markers. If I find any cool tricks I'll definitely let you know.

Okay! Thankies! I got some marker paper today too, and a micron.I bought prismacolors for fear I would dump a whole bunch of money into a more expensive brand to not have this marker thing work out. I forgot about the Bristol stuff, (I had read about it in a tutorial) and got some like, manga brand. It should work, even though I don't do manga, lol.
I'll keep grazing over some more tutorials, (I have been for 3 weeks!) hopefully I'll have some practice to post soon.
Thanks again!

Awesome, a local! I do shows in Denver occasionally but I haven't delved to deeply into the gallery scene. I'm going to be leaving the country for about 8 months pretty soon here, but when I get back you can bet I'll be showing a ton of work. I've recently decided that I hate being a web designer and I'm going to focus solely on painting. I'll let you know if I ever have a show.
