Hey so this has been bugging me forever now, you obviously know how pixar had a planned project called newt, well it's killing me to know why it was cancelled! i saw new concept art for it and it looks too good! i thought if anyone might know anything it might be you, so do you have a clue why it was cancelled? D:

I shouldn't give out too much info, but I will tell you that other companies found out about their concept ideas for a plot and made their own films out of it. This is why it's so important for Pixar to keep quiet about upcoming projects, because anyone else with the ability to make a film knows that whatever Pixar comes up with will be gold. They somewhat lose their morals when the opportunity to use their ideas comes into play.
However. there is a VERY slight chance that Newt will be continued in the future, just because they were so far into the film making process when it was cancelled.
