A Miami native and Atlanta resident, Kawai Laurencin has changed the face of art today. With over 18 years experience as an artist, his life took a slight detour into the medical field where he received his degree in nuclear medicine, graduating at the top of his class. He currently works as a nuclear medical technologist, looking to expand his practice by saving the lives of others by day and channeling his vision into works of art by night.
