Hey Chris! Well...I've been working...still looking for graphic design job within the area. Though a friend has mentioned that the area in Tennessee is fuming with jobs (I basically get notifications on Indeed every day about Graphic Design jobs there.) Just the problem is I am just making it by with making loan/rent payments with the job I have now. I don't have the money to be moving at the moment.
Otherwise, drawing/painting here and there. I really appreciate you checking up on me.

Well, the important thing is that you’re getting by. And fret not, you’ll be able to move in due time and get a job in graphic designing where your talents are needed and will be able to flourish. Maybe not today or tomorrow or the day after that, but eventually you will so long as you keep at it with your current job. I’m low on ideas and/or haven’t made any final decisions for redesigns, but I’ll commission you for old time’s sake to help put some extra $$ away for the move :0

Oh! Hey there, Francis! Where to be begin!? I haven't used MediBang Paint Pro, but I have heard some of my friends using it.
One thing is for sure, I am digging the line-art quality! It smooth and has different variety of strokes which gives it so much more definition (such as locations of muscles and bones). His expression really connects to his hand on that devastating scar of his. Now I do have to ask, is the cicatrix suppose to be drawn as like a fresh scar or an old scar? If old I would recommend lowering the layer's opacity to give it a more faded look.
Now, there is one thing that slightly bothers me and that would be the stiffness of his hair. Comparing to the pressure of his head on the pillow, I feel like his bangs should 'curve' a bit to show gravity.
I also noticed your canvas is 700 x 700 pixels with 72 dpi. I use 4000 x 6000 pixels with 300 dpi to make sure I get the quality I want.

Interesting point about the bangs and the canvas size. In my defense, I didn't want the canvas to be too big since this is my first ever drawing in years with an art program I've never used before :0 And I'm still struggling to finish Francis' hair just right >> But I'm glad you like it : D
And to answer your question, it's an old scar. When Francis was in his pod - you know, cuz he's a clone and all - it was full of green liquid, and there was this tube with one end hooked up to the inside of the pod, and the other end embedded in the boy's stomach. The tube was like an umbilical cord to give the developing Francis all of his nutrients and help him breath in the liquid while the scientists at Grey Men HQ - or "Black Forest" as it's called in the Cryptids universe - would use the pod's programing to alter the boy's genetic structure to whatever Epsilon saw fit. But there were complications that caused the boy’s pod to break, and as Francis fell out of his pod, the tube in his stomach tore away a chunk of skin and a bit of muscle around his abdomen. So yeah, I need to make the scar more faded than it is in the picture, but I’m still trying to figure out what the scar should actually look like first. I’m torn wether I should keep the one I have now and just fiddle around with it, or make it look like the scar on Jiraiya’s chest here img00.deviantart.net/57ca/i/20… because if you were to take that scar and put it where Francis’ belly button would be, it would give off more of impression that something was connected to the boy’s abdomen and was very badly torn from him. Or maybe make some combination of the two, idk. It’s a conundrum

As for this commission idea that I have, I'm sorry to say it's not another redesign, but something will turn up soon, something in the making that I like to call "The Plant of Black Forest." lol This idea is like what was done for the Fiskerton and Batman commission, only it's more ambiguous, meta, and ominous.
It's called "Lucille is Thirsty..."
Standing to the left is a character called the Comedian from the critically acclaimed - as well as one of my favorite graphic novels - Watchmen, and he's pointing a barbed wire bat at Keith from VLD who stands to the right and has his hands up. Why are these two characters from different universes in the same picture, and how come one of them is pointing a bat at the other?
Well, in the film adaptation of Watchmen, the Comedian was played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who later plays the role of Negan in AMC's The Walking Dead - also adapted from a comic. Negan is a popular antagonist both in the Walking Dead comics and TV show who uses strong profanity, wields the barbed wire lace bat I mentioned earlier, and gave that bat of his a name - Lucille.
Keith is voiced by Steven Yeun, who also has a major role in AMC's The Walking Dead as Glenn Rhee, a main character in the show and comic. Now, if you've already seen the TV show or heard about it, then you probably get where I'm coming from with this commission idea, if you haven't, then you should know that things don't end well for Steven Yeun's character when Negan shows up with that bat of his. And the title "Lucille is Thirsty..." is a reference to what Negan says after using the bat on Glenn - "Lucille is thirsty, she is a vampire bat!"
Pretty morbid background and whatnot, I know, lol, and if you're not comfortable doing this one given that you're a fan of VLD, I understand, and I can just think of something else for a commission. Just thought I'd pitch this idea to someone while it was still fresh in my mind.
