Well, in the story, we see Fiona's life before she became a pokemon. Fiona is a brave and adventurous soul who lives in the Johto region. One night, while out with her Totodile, Jaws, she is visited by Arceus, who tells her she is needed for a mission and is whisked away to the PSMD world.
