Unfortunately I am not planning on running #PresentsFromSanta in 2012. It took SO much energy and was just so disheartening when I had to deal with flakers or people complaining about the way I ran things. I may well run it again in 2013, who can say? But I don't have the time this year I'm afraid.

You can either check out #Artcrossing for an ongoing in-the-mail art exchange (it's NOT a direct exchange though - see the "What is Artcrossing?" box on the main page for how it works) or in a few weeks I'll post on this page some of the other secret Santa events that are going on around deviantART and maybe you can pick one of them.

It's a pity that there won't be a Secret Santa this year! I'm sorry to hear that people were complaining, they don't realize how much effort it requires to organize it. I really enjoyed the project last year, had fun making the gift and received a beautiful one in return. So thank you for that and I'll be hoping for Secret Santa 2013

I have the hand-written version, but the other one is gone. I texted my giftee to ask whether it arrived - I really hope so.
If not and if she can't scan the text I'll re-type the whole thing, though it would not be the original version since I changed a few details while copying it...
