Oh gosh I have to tell you about a really weird random dream I had last night that involved Nicholai and Luca. Sorry if I bother you but here goes LONG ASS STORY DREAM TIME.

Ok, so Nicholai and Luca are just being their diabetes inducing selves as per usual just roaming around Cerenus to find some new stores to shop at and hidden little coves to explore. They're swimming around under some docks playing hide-and-seek for a while with Nicholai tackling Luca from behind every single time and Luca starting up loads of splash fights in retaliation. This goes on for a while when Luca starts complaining his hair is getting too salty and ended up running away from Nicholai telling him he'd be back in a bit with some fresh towels and then heads off home. Nicholai swims around the docks while waiting for Luca occasionally pretending to be a fountain by spitting out little streams of water from his mouth only to whine at the salty taste when a huge splash washes over his entire body and he sinks. When he rises he starts coughing and whining thinking it was Luca being tricky again but ends up face to face with some maroon haired dude.

Mr. Maroon (idk his real name) just smiles and apologizes to Nicholai and the Garchomp just waves it off like nothing. Maroon starts chatting up with Nicholai asking him what he was doing around the docks then demanded a swimming race against him. Nicholai agrees and then they race while playing dirty tricks on each other to make winning easier. Maroon ends up winning and Nicholai congratulations him and then tries to excuse himself wanting to look for Luca since he's been gone for a while. But oh Maroon is having none of that and just starts trying to persuade Nicholai to stay and starts splashing at him playfully. When that didn't stop Nicholai the maroon dude starts tackling into him playfully and starts grabbing at the pirate's arms trying to make him stay. While Nicholai managed to shake him off he ended up being caught in a tight hold around his waist by the stranger and they start to have a scuffle in the water where they dive down and out repeatedly.

Luca finally came back with the towels and finds Nicholai being grabbed by the stranger with his nose buried into his hair. He takes the hold on Nicholai as a romantic gesture and thought Nicholai was letting himself get felt up by Maroon and gets really upset and starts yelling at Nicholai. The Garchomp tries to explain himself but finds himself getting kissed on the mouth and groped a lot by Maroon and that caused Luca to get even angrier, spitting out cold blasts of air and kicking up sand towards Nicholai to get it in his face. Luca throws the towels at the two into the water and storms off yelling "I'M DONE!!! JUST DONE!!!". Nicholai keeps struggling with Maroon yelling at him for acting like that when he had no interest in him at all. He manages to escape by elbowing Maroon in the gut then square in the face and chases after Luca.

Unfortunately Luca had managed to disappear into the afternoon crowd and Nicholai just starts apologizing into the crowd hoping the Glaceon would hear him if he was there. This went on for hours and the pirate would stop people asking if they saw Luca giving distinct detail of him like his butt shape and body shape in general pffff. Still no luck though and he started to weave in and out of stores hoping Luca was still in the area. Nicholai walks by a barber shop and stops noticing blue hair similar to that of Luca's being cut off. He runs inside with a wide smile only to find it was a random lady getting her hair cut. She screams noticing he was a pirate and he bolts as shaving cream is sprayed at him.

More hours passed and he keeps calling for Luca around every corner of Cerenus only to end up empty handed. He sighs and heads for home where he finds someone with short blue ruffled hair sitting quietly on the couch just staring at a flower with a solemn face. Nicholai goes into a defensive stance and carefully creeps up to the person and stops his foot down hard to get their attention.

"Hey! Who're you? This is my house. What do you think you're doing sittin' there? Answer me now." Nicholai hisses at the person then stops in his tracks once the stranger's face became visible. His eyes widened and his jaw dropped as he took steps back nearly stumbling from shock. "....L-LUCA???" he gasped loudly finding the Glaceon now glowering at him before looking away from him quickly.

"...hmph..." Luca grunts still upset with Nicholai from earlier.

Nicholai scrambles towards Luca excitedly babbling how happy he was to see him again only to then question why his Glaceon's hair was now cropped so short. The large braid was gone only to find a smaller one made from the shorter locks of blue hair. Luca keeps giving Nicholai the cold shoulder and shrugs like it was nothing.

"...I just felt like cutting it. It was ugly. I hated it." he replies curtly with a bitter frown then ruffled up his hair some more.

"Huh?! But it looked so good on you Luca! I love your long hair! You looked great! Well, you still look good but.... why? It's got to be more than that..."

"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY. LEAVE ME ALONE. I HATE YOU. I'M DONE."

The pirate's heart sunk heavily now knowing how Luca really felt about him. He gave the Glaceon some space and started to chuckle uneasily. This causes Luca to glance over a bit but he still wore his frown. "Luca... that guy was after me despite me telling him I didn't want to have anything to do with him. I tried to get away from him without violence but he just kept coming. I told him I had a boyfriend and he didn't care. I told him I loved you and he still didn't get it. I had to kick his ass to get to you Luca. I wanted to rush over to you and give you a big hug and cuddle with you and tell you sweet nothings for the rest of the day. I wanted to kiss you all over and tell you I love you every single second, really, believe me Luca."

Luca balls up his hands and throws a punch at Nicholai's arm, then chest, and lastly his face. He keeps beating up Nicholai and the pirate just smiles and takes the blows without a single complaint. They end up on the floor with Luca on top still pounding on Nicholai but his lips quiver heavily and his eyes become red with cheeks now sopping wet from hot tears. "I HATE YOU. I HATE YOU. YOU'RE DISGUSTING. I HATE YOU. STOP SMILING! I HATE YOU! GET AWAY FROM ME! SHUT UP! I HATE YOU!!!" Luca just screams at Nicholai with his punches eventually slowing down to a stop and he gets off of Nicholai sobbing heavily and tries to run away again but Nicholai catches him by the arm. Luca turns back to punch him again but his arms are bound by Nicholai giving him a tight hug. "...I know you hate me. I know you don't want to see me. I know you're hurt. I know you're upset. I know you want me to leave. I know, I know..." Nicholai murmurs to Luca in a calm voice and makes his hug even tighter. Luca eases up and cries hard against Nicholai's chest and crumples up under his Garchomp's arms not able to say a single word. Nicholai starts humming trying to calm the Glaceon down further and gives him kisses to the top of his head while apologizing for being 'everything Luca hates'. He knew Luca didn't mean what he said but he played along trying to make the other's rage simmer down.

The Glaceon eventually wears himself out from crying so much and just leans against Nicholai's body too tired to do anything else. Nicholai pulls away briefly and smiles widely to bump foreheads with Luca like they normally would and rocks their bodies side to side. "I love you. Luca, I love you so much. I love you. My lovely Glaceon. I love you. Never forget that, ok?" he told the other with his smile widening and rubs noses with him. Luca just nods and sniffs while rubbing his nose back with a soft whine. ".......Nicholai.... I love you... it hurts... it really really hurts...." the Glaceon mumbles and starts tearing up again. The pirate hushes Luca and gives him another tight hug. "No, no, no, don't cry again. I love you Luca. Don't cry. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I love you so much. I love you..." he keeps whispering his love to the boy and supplies many kisses to his head. They rest on the couch to cuddle for a couple more hours when Luca falls asleep in his arms clinging onto the pirate like a child frightened by something. Nicholai just smiles and keeps his hold onto Luca before he himself falls asleep muttering one last time "I love you..."

And then next morning Luca wakes up as a grumpy guss, Nicholai tries to cheer him up by tickling him. They have a tickle fight, cuddle, then make pancakes together. Nicholai feeds Luca while trying to get him to wear an apron and Luca kicks him in the gut. Luca ends up stripped to his underwear and wears the apron saying he's doing it just to shut Nicholai up. Nicholai is happy and starts groping him asking for more pancakes. Luca lightens up and tells Nicholai he loves him, they kiss, and they make more pancakes happy end.
