That man is full of excuses, isn't he? Both Mewtwo and Roy were supposedly planned for Brawl so I'm sure there was some data to port over. It may not have been a ton, but he makes it sound like there was nothing. And so what if Mewtwo had to be treated as a newcomer? They could have easily given him priority over most of them considering he's probably the most requested character in both the east and west. I'll just be sitting here, praying we get DLC this time around. The game's already sold over a million copies in Japan, it would be stupid of them not to.

And as a side note, the fact that enough people mentioned Roy in the poll's comments that they made a mention of it in the article made me happy. Our boy is still loved!

I can understand how it happened. His model and animations are almost identical to Mario, so it was mostly a copy-paste job. There probably wasn't anything brought directly over from Melee at all. That doesn't make it any less of an insult to the Roy and Mewtwo fans who have been supporting the return of their respective characters for the past six years, though.
