Hey, I just got m first snake a couple weeks ago. A little normal corn snake. He comes from a store that buys from local breeders..
His eyes are cloudy now, and his belly looked cloudy a few days ago but now isnβt. Nothing else besides his eyes are cloudy looking, and I donβt think he is about to shed, because he isnβt really that old. I think it may be a eye infection, what do you think? Sorry if this isnβt the place to ask. >: Iβm just concerned.

hey, sounds to me like he's just getting ready to shed his skin. The scale covering the eye on a snake sheds as well as his other scales, so that would be why his eyes are cloudy.
Make sure he'd kept warm and has a water-dish big enough to soak in. I also give my snakes a rough rock or knobbly stick, as these can help them to remove the shedding skin.
You can give snakes warm soak baths, even steam baths if you want to give them(or they need) a bit extra help too.
If he doesn't shed in the next few weeks it might do to take him to a vet just to get check out, but it just sounds like he needs getting ready to shed to me.
