Oh you live in War Of The Worlds-land...neat! I drove through there once. And took a walk through Horsell Common looking for Martians. I thought I'd find something akin to Jeff Wayne's record covers, sadly those paintings musta been conjoured up by artists in dreamland, 'cos the *real* Horsell Common looks v. different!

Woking today is nothing like the Woking in the book. Its a modern metropolitan town, an overspill of London. Horsell common is a spooky place, all those pine trees and the sand pits where the Martians meant to have actually landed are literally a sandy hole in the grouns with a big pond in the middle. Nothing like what Hollywood would have people believe.

OK I have faved several of your pics, and I want to say that I am truly impressed by the fact that you primarily use pence an ink for you art! In a world where EVERYTHING is photoshoped you use a traditional medium and I give you great honor for that! it's what I prefer, and I just wish I could obtain your level of skill. keep up the amazing work!

Thats it exactly mate, the norm is to try to keep up with all the latest trends and digital is the way to go. That in itself makes me go the other way. Makes me feel that pencils and inks is precisely the way i should go. I'd rather be an awesome pencil artist than a mediocre digital one. Makes me unique and stand out more.

I'm not going to say that there is no skill in digital art, because that is not true, you need to know how to use the programs to attain the desired effect, but that being said the medium of traditional art
