# About me
Born and raised in Utah, I have always been involved with creative arts. It wasn't till 2006 while attending UVU that I found my passion for Photography. From that day forward I have been shooting every chance I get. My forte is portraiture work, however I do enjoy working in all genre's of Photography.In my work, I try to visually portray a captive artistic image. To achieve this I like to implement dramatic lighting into my images which I think helps me push the envelope of creative lighting and creative thinking. I enjoy experimenting with every shoot. Whether it be lighting, wardrobe, hair, make-up or even background.
While I use a variety of styles and processes in each project my methodology is consistent. Photography is very experiential. It's about seeing the subtleties of our existence. As an artist, I often submerge myself into my surroundings, keeping an open mind and being aware of the spontaneity and interaction of life around me. Photography is art, intuition and poetic expression. It's a pleasure to have the opportunity to share with people through my images a part of my world, and myself.
