Current Residence: www.ryankopf.com and www.animecon.orgI organize things and program on computers. I started learning about technology and anime in middle school, and now I organize anime conventions full time. It is my belief that technology can be used to change the world and make the world a significantly better place for everyone. Large numbers of our world's problems can be solved if we democratize technology and make it more freely available to everyone.
Right now large corporations hold massive monopolies on patents on technology that is crucial to our daily lives, and these patents are often obscure or all encompassing... imagine a patent on "a method for breathing oxygen via dual air interfaces." AKA Lungs. I'm sure that would be approved for a patent these days. These patents are an assault on our freedoms. I hope you will check out the Ryan Kopf website sometime and learn more about me.
