That's about the only way people online can regularly contact me nowadays since I've gotten so swamped... Sigh. I'm sorry. I hope you e mail me and tell me more about what's been going on in your life and mind.

.... Uh, not much asides from school. OTL

Not to say that my life is boring, because I feel very engaged in getting to know my professors and classmates on a friendlier level. I feel so outgoing while I'm at St. Edward's, possibly because of its laid-back vibe and smaller classrooms. 

I also joined organizations like my school's academic journal and a recent debate competition (wish me luck)! A lot of my life has been centered on reading interesting material to my field and just trying to be an overall better writer/thinker/speaker. Even though it's not easy, and even though it's often centered on school--I feel like what I'm doing is personally meaningful and leading up to something positive. Or at least, I hope so.

Just recently, I submitted applications into an undergrad research experience program that is said to start in the upcoming spring and lasting for eight weeks into the summer; I got through the initial screening and interview process, but we'll see how that goes. I also signed up for a leadership-training retreat that is supposed to start in the winter. No idea if I'm going to get into either of them, but I hope I do!

I am also trying to see if I can get an internship, but you know me--I HATE job-searching. Ugh. OTL If only jobs did fall into my lap, sometimes... ugh, ugh, ugh. I'll probably need to get a job if I ever get accepted into graduate school.

Beyond that, I do try to take care of myself in other areas of my life, otherwise I'd "burn out" (it happened once already...): socializing with friends and family (even if it's often only over the phone), keeping up with my exercising, still earning money through my part-time job as a tutor, remembering (?) to eat more substantial meals, trying to keep a positive attitude...

My only regret is that I haven't taken much time out for other hobbies like drawing, playing video games, or reading more recreational novels. OTL

Good question, actually. I admit that I don't post up a lot of my art because asides from those few paintings I've done for my Digital Painting class last year, there's not much I've done that's good enough...? *Gets smacked* OW!

Hm. If I do post more art, I'll probably make a new account. I'll still keep Rytersol as a place for favs, but my extra account would be my more serious one~ If I make one, I'll tell you, Ann, and Mike about it!

Actually, I was contemplating making an entirely new account from scratch and making it my official "art post account" while Rytersol stays as my "browsing account." What do you think?
