Scott Hovind Fine Art Photography of Michigan

Specializing in Nature, wildlife and historical images but never turn down the chance to shoot something new and interesting. My images adorn the walls of living rooms and offices around the world.
All images were taken in Michigan so far.



For no reason whatsoever, I just wanted to tell you all why I try and why I work so hard at photography or just why I do it. I don't do it merely because I'm good at it as there are several things I'm good at and don't put nearly the effort into. I don't do it merely because I love it. I do but that isn't why. I don't do it because I want to capture nature or history etc although that is a bonus. I don't do it for my enjoyment or even for yours, although that too is a side benefit. I don't do it to make money.

I do photography and work endless hours to promote it because....
All my life I've struggled. I've worked vary hard and still struggled. I live hand to mouth, paycheck to paycheck and have very little to show for it. I accomplished very little. So I bust my ass with photography and promoting my photography because I won't be around forever but before I go, dammit, I want to be able to say I accomplished something. I want to leave my mark on this Earth. This is my legacy.
