# About me
I'm a hobbyist photographer, I mostly shoot landscape shots but occasionally will shoot flowers or macro shots. I first started here posting low-resolution photo's with my Nikon Coolpix s9100.I then went on to win my first DSLR camera (Canon 550D) over at Canon's EOS Hero Chain with my Australian Sunrise photograph (here ).
With that camera I took some of my most highly rated photo's and invested in a fair few lenses for it, including a macro lens, a wide angle lens and a zoom lens.
Now though, I have purchased a Canon 6D and a Canon 17-40mm L Lens to go with it, this is a great combination and I'm absolutely loving it, it's a great lens for landscapes and the detail given from the 6D is far better than the 550D.
