# About me
Just a general introduction of myself, and if you don't feel like reading all of it, well, the most important things are in this first paragraph. ^^' My name is Samantha, or Sam for short. And, one of the most prominent things about me is that I consider myself a furry. I know that furries have a terrible rep these days, but I tell the truth when I say that being a furry to me is more of just a personal happiness coming from the fact that I am one, rather than a lusting after of yiff, bestiality fursuiting or any other controversial or frowned upon actions.I mention this because I am a writer, occasionally, and pretty much everything that I write has either been influenced by or makes some reference to furries. Also, a lot of my writing is very tactile in nature. That is, I write what I feel, and most of the time this means that most of my work has to do with specific feelings of sight, sound or touch. I try to describe the subtle connections and interweavings of emotion and place that occur with such things as the shifting of light or the feeling of a breeze.
I am very connected to nature, in that I find most of my inspiration in the wind, light and water and I find myself most at peace with myself and the world right before a storm, when puffy clouds of grey and white scud across the sky, a breeze sweeps over everything, and the light becomes soft, and perfect for taking a gentle afternoon doze.
I write things to be pretty. I don't put meanings or symbolism in my work usually, and I often get carried away by the tactile feel and emotions of my own word. For me, these works are experiances, memories, and peace, a love of life and a deep appreciation and fondness for nature and being a furry.
I realize that most people will not necessarily see things the way I do, and I understand that. I write mainly for myself, for the yearnings that I feel in my chest.
If I had one wish about my work, it would be that people who read my works would be comforted, softened, and put at peace, admiring the beauty of life. I wish for my work to be deeply beautiful thing for people to cling to in a life that, for many of us is not always beautiful.
I have had my share of that life the same as any other person, for we are all only human. I try not to dwell on the things that bring me anger, sadness or bitterness, and I have been lucky in that there is not much with my life that has been dark. I am an average everyday person, no more burdened than anyone else. We are all people. We are all human. It is my hope and dream that the next day will always get better for everyone, no matter what. <= )
