My best friend's family have offered for me to move in with them several times over the years, and I think I'm gonna take them up on it, but I'm holding back for now because I'm afraid of making a big conflict with my parents. :/

Yeah. My situation's a little different though. My family (Mom, sister, and myself, anyway) have technically been homeless the past four (almost five) years thanks to my stepfather screwing us over in every possible way, and have been staying with my grandparents up until last August (I think) when my uncle moved back from California and had to stay with them, now we're staying with some friends.

My mom and her boyfriend are trying to find a house with enough space to house three kids under twelve (two are his, one is my sister), me, and them, without really piling up on each other. I think you can imagine how well THAT'S going. They've been talking like they've found something, though.

You're young, though! You're only just going to be turning 18. I'll be 22 in October, have gone to college for 4 years, and I STILL don't know what to do with my life tbh.

You shouldn't rush yourself over these things. It'll come to you when you're ready <3 And as far as your regrets, well....I don't know what you're talking about when it comes to those, but what's done is done and I know it's hard but you can't hang onto it. You just have to keep moving forward. You've got this :3
