# About me
Hey, thanks for stopping by my DeviantArt page! My name is Scott S. Robbins, and I am a professional creative and professor of graphic design by trade. It is fair to say I am something of a pen tool expert and vector art guru among my contemporaries. However, I did not create this account to display any of that work.i've recently fallen once again for my first love, traditional illustration. Like many of you, I spent a large chunk of my childhood on the floor drawing; first it was dinosaurs, then sharks, then onto monsters before I really discovered the art of the comic book.
Sometime between now and then I pulled away from those pursuits and into what I then considered more professional applications of my creativity... But I have seem to have recently re-awakened that little boy on the floor, and I am very interested in using more of my time using that skill set and seeing where it may lead.
i work mostly in traditional pen & ink over pencil artwork, but have really enjoyed working with these same drawings in AI and PSD to create fully realized color environments. I will post highlights of my work here, but will update the personal site listed below on an almost daily basis. Thanks for taking the time to check out my artwork, and please feel free to say hello.
