Well, I still gotta finish the slingshot, wig and nose. But I've got a bigger problem with Usopp's bag. I honestly have no clue how to make it Could you maybe give me some tips about e.g. what kind of fabric I should use? It would help me a lot if I get some tips from an experienced cosplayer! I would really appreciate that! (:

I have to admit, Usopp's bag was probably one of the hardest parts of the cosplay and I'm still not very happy with how mine turned out!

You'll want to get a hold of a giant 'kiss clasp' for the top ... google it to see what I mean. I don't know what material you're hoping to use for the actual bag, but vinyl would probably be best? I was a twit and tried to assemble a series of cut up bags together to make the general shape, and then I painted it the right colour. It worked, but it looked pretty sloppy over all!!  

I actually just used a few belts for the strap, but any craft store would have something better to use. I used Plastimake to sculpt the buckles and then detailed them with acrylic paint, but sculpey would be great, too? 

Or ... just real buckles? If you could find something similar to the real thing, it might save time! XD

"Kiss clasp"....so that's what these things are called! I was trying to figure out what they're called for such a long time! xD

Yeah - I had so much trouble figuring out what the proper name for the clasp was! In the end, I took a picture of it to a handbag shop and the lady told me. XD
