yea, that's what Clinical Depression does to us.  Since our brains don't have enough serotonin to process simple emotions, we have more capacity to generate ideas.  But the cruel irony is that we also lack the drive (also a product of serotonin!) to carry out our many ideas! -_-;; 

but yes! I can totally relate with you.  We just got to force ourselves to do the things little by little!   What's your goal btw?  Mine is to draw and sell art for a living full time.

Right now my goal is to just get through all my project deadlines (2 magazine designs that need to be stitched -- and my supplier never sent me the fabric! -- a Christmas open call, and an Etsy commission) and hopefully unpack a couple more moving boxes... Some days it's a victory just to not fall asleep as soon as I get home from my regular job.

Yeah, I started out as an illustrator, then got into craft and needlework design. I've been a pro for almost 30 years now. Right now I'm working on August 2019 and Christmas 2019 for different magazines, a special commission for an Etsy patron, and new stuff going up in my Etsy shop (wanted them up for Halloween since it's Harry Potter related but that one blew by). Trying to get everything out the door before my eye surgery in December.

We actually moved in about a year and a half ago, which is why I'm stressing about it. Part of it is that I never knew how much stuff we had collected until we had to move it all (O__O) and part of it is that sorting through my late husband's things has been difficult at best. Still trying to decide what to do with a lot of it, like his research books.

Ah, sorry to hear! Well I'm glad you're back to drawing. ^-^

For me, life just kinda got in the way. I was too busy with work & school to bother to check dA, I kinda just checked every month or so if I had something to upload. I'm hopefully back for good now though!

ya.. art is such a tough commitment! been having this abusive on-and-off relationship with art for too long!! Hopefully we are indeed back for good! <_<;; though a bad week of art block is enough to cause a relapse for me

LOL so funny, I didn't think I'd get a response so I never checked again. I'm doing pretty good, and I'm also slowly getting back into drawing too! Just waiting for school to let out a little bit so I can put more time into art
