Dear Shell:
Your Mum sent me your web links today and so I looked through your art. What I found is both beautiful and brilliant
Very little "art" can actually touch me, move me (I am a bit picky). I have had the advantage of seeing some of the rarest art on the planet. I laughed my way through the Canadian National Art Gallery ... Then I see what you produced. I am moved, I am touched -- beyond imagination. Nothing has done that before -- nothing in an "art" sense. I just find what you have done is just brilliant.
If I may make a suggestion, and please do not take this badly. Your drawing capability is good (and I would encourage you to keep developing your art in that way). However, where I see your true strength, gift and skill is the photographic arts. Pick up the camera and just start clicking away!! I think that is your artistic strength -- and it is just my opinion so take it for what it is worth -- I think there is where your gift resides.
As mentioned earlier, I found your pictures both brilliant and beautiful. I also think that what artists try to do is touch someone's soul. Well you certainly did that with the pictures I saw!!
Keep up the good work Shell, and keep exploring your art and skill and develop it. You have capability and ability . Just keep clicking.
But that is just my opinion.
