Ooh! It's good! I have a bf goin on 7 months, and that's just fantastic. I love that muffin. AND I HAVE BEEN TO MANY A CONCERT. And I like weed now. Not too much, but occasionally. Also I'm going for nurse practitioner. No longer an English major, bc....idk it just got boring to me. I didn't feel like I would lead much of a productive life. I'm getting a tattoo this week? ALSO I AM A DRUNK (not that you didn't see that coming.) Um....nothing else I can think of...I haven't done anything else too drastic. :C I'm living in downtown chicago now?? By myself. But in a dorm.

It's hilarious how she acts all hurt. I sent her the link to Korra Is Not Tan so that she can see that her racism has been immortalized.

Hey there, thanks for the kudos, just block the trolls it is much easier. There are a plethora of individual mental midgets that stalk from home on their keyboards using anonymity to embolden their attacks. By being hidden they feel safe to show aggression. Just ban/block them. So much easier than engaging in diatribe with subpar intellect. If you were to take a gander upon their "galleries" on DA you would see a complete lack of talent, vision, artistic impression or anyting otherwise deserving of your attention. At any rate, thank you for standing up for the model who these mindless missives attacked due to their lack of self confidence and self worth, they are simply non-sequiter being in a much larger world and not worthy of any further attention as they are completely ugly inside and out.

My profile was pretty empty anyway haha and I'm not much in the way of talent tbh just a commenter... But basically, I'd rather them comment their virile nastiness here and get smacked down where the model doesn't have to see it.
IDK does she see the deviation?

My god, you and everyone else needs to calm down. It was just a play on words. It's called comedy, however crude it may be. As long as the internet doesn't have any morality laws, I'm not going to stress over being extra proper on it. You should really try to relax, and not get so worked up over stupid shit you see on a comments board. Try to just look away from it, one persons rude comment isn't going to bring anything down, by itself. Now with that said, I didn't ever mention anything about fucking women needing to worry about wearing certain clothing, to prevent themselves from being raped. They should be able to wear nothing but the skin that they were born with out in public, and still be fine. But sadly, such as the time of the caveman, it's still true today that, humans are disgusting sex monsters. If everyone ran around nude, our sociological evolution would probably get thrown back to that of a monkey. Humans aren't anywhere near mart enough to just, let it be. Now, even though I agree that women shouldn't be branded anything by what they wear, and that "slutty" clothing doesn't mean "come rape me." That doesn't mean that I condone modeling as an art form. No, I honestly don't see any sexual form of modeling as art. In fact, I think if humans in general, stopped looking at the human body as "sexy" or "special" there would probably be a little bit less rape in the world, maybe. If people could look at the human body, as what it is, which is nature. Then maybe, just maybe, there would be less sexual pressure on society, and maybe then her, along with a lot of other women wouldn't have to look "hot" to feel good about themselves. So I most definitely don't count this as an art form, it's more of a service. However, sexy shit is just about as deeply intertwined with most of societies mentality, as men's primal instinct to shove their dicks in any wet hole is. No point in trying to stop it. Again, didn't mean to tick anyone off, it just seemed humorous to me.

I don't understand why you agree that women should be able to wear whatever they want while simultaneously agreeing that humans are incapable of controlling their sexual desires. Don't you agree that the problem is that people think they can do things to people when they don't want you to and get away with it, as opposed to the problem being what women wear? And if so, shouldn't we celebrate women confident enough to wear what they want despite the stigma that currently exists, and try to get rid of that stigma?

KristChinDMunky In reply to SeeAllOfMe [2012-07-27 16:28:26 +0000 UTC]
Are you serious? You basically just said "It doesn't make sense to believe a woman can wear what she wants and at the same time think that humans can't control themselves." Did you not read the entire message or something? That literally doesn't make any sense, I did not ONCE say that it was the fucking clothes that did it, I said the exact fucking opposite. I said that it IS people that decide to do that shit to other people, hence why women should fucking be able to wear what they fucking want to, how the fuck can you contradict yourself so much in one fucking message? Half of my point, in the message was that women should be able to wear what they want, without people bothering them, why shouldn't they? Just because people might say shit about it, doesn't mean they shouldn't do it, if that's how they want to present themselves. I mean, you basically repeated what I said, then tried to say I should disagree with myself. How contradictory is that. My entire argument was the fact that it's PEOPLE that do this shit, not clothes, and you come back with "I don't understand why you agree that women should be able to wear whatever they want while simultaneously agreeing that humans are incapable of controlling their sexual desires. Don't you agree that the problem is that people think they can do things to people when they don't want you to and get away with it, as opposed to the problem being what women wear?" You might need to re read what I sent, you just fucking summarized, a quarter of my message. And tried to act like you're the one that said it. What!? Furthermore, what you said after that, about women being celebrated for dressing "slutty" completely contradicts what you and I said about clothing not mattering. That would be focusing on the fact that the clothes are important. Also, it's already celebrated, what are you talking about? Just about every American female role model of this day and age dresses like a slut. Hell, it doesn't even matter if they get beat to a bloody pulp anymore. Rihanna got her face bashed in, and people still look up to her, as well as Chris Brown, that's how prominent this shit is in today's society. it's such a natural thing now, it's almost like humans are mentally devolving. Anyways, that's a bit off subject, back on topic. Whether or not they should be celebrated, is really a matter of opinion. Some people find it acceptable, some don't, it sure as hell isn't going to help take sexual focus off of the human body, by celebrating them though, which was another big part of my argument already. Sorry if I sound like a dick, or if I say fuck too much, I'm not trying to be one, rough morning already. I wouldn't mind wrapping this up and moving on to another subject, if you'd like.

hi i'm just a stranger who stumbled upon some of your comments
i'm a bit confused with your argument
you say that people can do whatever they want with themselves and their bodies (presumably to fit their own personal aesthetic preferences)
but you find people having their own preferences in terms of physical appearance wrong??
or am i wrong and misreading comments and your intentions and if so i'm sorry
(i'm not fond of slutshamers (is there a better term for that? "people who dislike woman who choose to freely express their sexuality") but i'm not fond of people who won't allow others to express their opinions (even if their opinions are dumb) either)
if i'm being dumb or anything feel free to hide my comment

No it's a legitimate issue.
anyway, the difference is that someone can do what they want to their own appearance because it's their body and they should be able to... you know, get jobs, have a life without everyone thinking say 'oh she has pink hair she's obviously cray'. But people who want to be conventionally beautiful and have tanned skin and long beautiful hair... they shouldn't be called sluts or whores. That's simply the identity they choose to project, what makes them feel good.
So anyone can anything beautiful - but the problem comes when those preferences are rooted in sexism or racism, furthermore, if your idea of beauty comes at the detriment to other people (so people who don't fit into your standards of beauty are sluts or weirdos or lazy or all sorts of slurs) then your mentality is negative and offensive.
It's a sort of... You can do what you want, as long as it's either a positive or neutral action. Who needs MORE negativity in the world?
I guess I was sort of pissed off today at people judging because my friend, who actually has self-esteem issues, went out into town/city with very short shorts on... Because it was freakin' hot, and because those shorts made her feel good. She normally lives in jeans, so it's not characteristic of her. So she goes to take out money and a group of people behind her start whispering snide nasty judgemental comments (tbh if I'd been there with her I would've called them out but I wasn't) about 'does she think she looks good in that?' and calling her a slut for wearing such shorts... It's just, unnecessary negativity. You know nothing about that person, you know?

Probably considering a special snowflake is someone who is designed to be a cookie cutter image. :/
I'm just sick of seeing the same kind of image over and over. It's not just the fact that she looks the way she looks... because honestly I couldn't care less. It's the clothing, pose and overall 'she's sexy because she's half naked and posing suggestively' that makes this a cookie cutter image, and as a result, makes her a cookie cutter barbie. The photographer had 0 creativity here, and didn't give the model any kind of 'wow' to make her look any different than all of the other magazine cover and playboy girls.

There's kind of a reason shots like this are in magazines. Cause people believe them to be beautiful. What's wrong with this beauty? I get that you can get bored, but tbh what look HASN'T been done a million times ultimately?
If you'd just said 'the photograph doesn't stand out, I don't feel it has wow factor' then that's like a fair criticism but calling her a Barbie is a bit unnecessary. She's a person.

I have no opinion of her. I don't even know her. I saw the title, I saw the half naked girl, I made a joke. Of course, it's always the rapist's fault, not the girl's, but just think of how many creepos are masturbating to that picture right now. You have to view it from their perspective. Don't want creeps creeping on you? Don't post pictures like that. Simple logic! And I hope it will make the artist think.
On the other hand, it's not art, it's porn for the desperate and frustrated. I have no respect for that crap.

Ok its obvious that you're just a man hater. the reason i leave misogynistic comments is for the fact that you dont like what i have to say about something and call me an asshole so know you can see what an asshole can be like. I can judge whatever the hell i want and so can you. that's what makes the world go around. not to mention this is an art website. you judge the art as soon as you look at it. if you like it you fave it if not you say what you think and move on. so get off your little trip you're on. Im only saying that women with a natural beauty are more appealing the the ones with plastic painted on faces. if you dont like it then keep your mouth closed and clean the kitchen or something lol now you can count 4

You're right i'm scum of the earth. all because i like natural women that dont need to cover their inner bitch. wheres the pictures of yourself? not comfortable enough? my guess is you wear a ton of make up and you fat and ugly, dont get attention so you stir up shit on here to make yourself feel like youre apart or something. because in the real world no one wants anything to do with you because you are a self center bitch who cant seem to take anyone opinion on something without blowing the fuck up. Go join your man hating group and bitch about me all you want. swallow every bit of self pity until you reach the bottom of that ice cream jar because boo fucking hoo your life is so sad and pathetic.
