Coloring scans is okay. it is a major geryzone but if you retrace the lines and color them than it is okay.
Otherwise artists like benderZz (who does colors,too)
ioshiklineart (who does linearts from scans and does even take commisions for that) or Azley (who also does vectors) would all be artthivies and were banned.
These are just a few examples since these are aminz artist and no one complaines about them.

Yeah, that was my understanding as well. Since I redo the lines and colour, I should have no problems. Thanks for the comment, it reaffirms my thoughts, which is a sigh of relief that I can continue to upload.

I Didn't hide it for any reason other than I didn't want to look at it everyday. If you really feel the need to report, that is up to you. I am not trying to steal anything and I say that I didn't draw the pictures. I have permission from the site that hosts these pages, and that should be good enough to not break any rules.

you need permission from the actual artist, those that host the manga are actually in a sense stealing the work themselves.

From my understanding you are allowed to upload images that you have re-traced, I redo the lines on each page, as it makes colouring easier. So that should make me uploading this within the rules.

you do realize that is just a user on DA but not one of the admins. what you have to watch out for is this part of the fanart policy. FAQ #572: What does deviantART consider "Fan Art" to be?
it says to add your own touches to traced work so that it is not exactly 100% the same.
